This couch is beautiful, it fit our space perfectly & is very aesthetically pleasing. But after just a few months it had pilled so much. Even in areas we don’t sit such as the ottoman. After looking at a Freedom Facebook group we found this was a common complaint. We are also now going through the processes to have it assessed as the frame appears to have broken on the back of the couch. We’re two adults in our mid thirties who rarely use this couch. How it has pilled & the frame has possibly broken indicates the poor quality of this product. We have had this couch for a year now but I felt compelled to write a review of our experience to warn others of the quality.

Within 3 months the automatic recliner for the head piece broke. Tried to call them but found out you have to email them there isn't someone you can talk to about the warranty. After another 4 weeks, Leather doctor guys arrive, they put foam under the seat to make it firm and replace the foot rest assembly.Incident 3:Once they fixed it, I noticed that the fabric is tearing from stitches near the hand rest of the sofa. Another warranty claim.the 2.5 seather sofa seems to be OK.I'm not happy about the handling of warranty in terms of1. No one to call but wait for the email2. turn around time from 4 to 12 weeks depending upon the issue3. Poor workmanshipI hope this helps other to make any decision in buying the modular 3 seater sofa. Had I known about the warranty claim procedure earlier, I wouldn't have touched the sofa regardless of the quality and price of the sofa. I won't touch anything like this from Freedom again unless the warranty claiming procedure and turn round time change.4 major issues in less than 1 year is eligible for a refund considering how expensive it is.

When I contacted Freedom online, they where extremely unhelpful and told me to purchase a de-pilling machine. I would at least have expected the apholstered fabric for a sofa of this price to be sufficiently tested to ensure durability as promised when I made the purchase in store. I am extremely disappointed by the service received by Freedom customer care and by the sorrento sofa which does not live up to the high quality promised. Do not purchase.

I've had the Sorrento Modular Sofa from Freedom for just three days, and I'm already impressed with its stylish design and comfort. The sofa has a sleek, modern look that fits well with my living room decor. The cushions are plush and supportive, making it a great spot to relax. Although it's still early days, the build quality seems solid, and I can tell this is an investment in quality and comfort. Given the excellent construction and comfort it offers, I believe it represents great value for money.
We love the look of our sorrento and the many options, but it has worn terribly. We vacuum it regularly. The main issue has been pilling. We contacted customer service who advised this was normal and would settle down after a couple of months- it has not. We have to depill it every 2-3 days, it looks absolutely revolting. I made a warranty claim which was rejected as the extreme pilling is considered normal wear and tear. I have had similar coloured fabric couches and they have NEVER looked like this. Very disappointed and would not purchase from freedom again despite their styles and reasonably priced furniture.
We purchased the Sorrento modular sofa last year in the alpha fabric for our living room and were pleasantly surprised when it arrived two months earlier than anticipated. The sofa is modular and able to be separated, which made getting it in place so much easier. The cushions are plump and comfty and it looks fantastic in our living room space. I love that the size is large enough for multiple people (or two lying down!) but the lower profile doesn’t look bulky in our living room. Really pleased with our purchase.
I have been on the fence about making this purchase , I visited 3 different freedom stores over the last 2 months whilst I made my decision and I can say by far Samantha ( Sam ) at Castle Hill Freedom was a standout for me. I ended up buying the couch of my dreams! Sam spent time with us, helping me rearrange the modules to ensure I got what I wanted and understood the look ( I am a visual learner ) Sam answered all my questions, offered styling advice and even looked at my floor plan to help me decide if I wanted a left or right hand module. HUGE thanks to Sam for going above and beyond and making the experience worth raving about!(

I purchased the Sorrento modular sofa with chaise and a matching 1.5 seater chairs than a year ago and already the fabric is starting to rub, pill and look worn. I live alone so it's not as though it gets a lot of wear.The fabric is also very Itchy against the skin making it super uncomfortable in the summer when wearing summer clothing.I would not buy this furniture again and would not recommend it to anyone
We love our new sofa! Its so comfy and looks great in the space. As we don't own the apartment we chose this sofa as its so adaptable for new spaces should we move in the future. The ottoman is a great addition for movie night. It arrived really fast and the guys that delivered it even asked if i needed them to unwrap. Highly recommend Freedom and this sofa.
