My 12 yr old requested this in size 5 for his birthday as his school has the same in sport class. Delivery was super fast within 3 days. He loves it and it’s an awesome basketball for all ages, looks great and wears so well too. Highly recommend

I may actually return this if it is not too troublesome. Have to look at their return policy. It had a little bump on the ball so wouldn't bounce where you expect it to bounce off to every single time. When the ball bounces on this little bump, it will bounce to somewhere unexpected. The bump is not big but big enough to cause uneven bouncing. Certainly not the quality i was expecting from spalding.

This is a solid, well-made, quality basketball. 11-year-old kiddo was over the moon excited when he got this hands on this Spalding ball.... saying over and over how awesome it was, and how excited he was to have a "professional ball". It is a full-size basketball (so it is good for older kids and adults), and can be used for both outdoor and indoor play. This is important for us, since it will largely be used for outside play and practice. So far it has been used on driveway concrete, and has performed wonderfully (great "bounce", no damage etc...)._x000D_I appreciate that the ball was already inflated in the package, and ready to go. The TF Grind basketball is a very nice all surface ball. Feels very nice but not to on the smooth side and bounces very well. The feel of the basketball is optimal for my preferences. I would recommend this.
It’s one of the best ball to use, and it’s the official ball to use in SJL tournaments right now in ACT.Sometimes the official run out ball and just going to borrow mine for the tournament game.The ball is very good quality and I don’t need to pump it for a month.
I'm saddened that Spalding lost the rights to the NBA as the official ball of the NBA but that's business I guess. I always thought Wilson just famous for tennis balls. Nonetheless this ball which came with The Beast is a great basketball. My boys have been balling with it for a couple of weeks now and they love it. Great feel, great size, weight and apparently very durable to this point.
Have a premium features on grip, weight, and quality bounce-sound on a court. Its perfect for official games. It's good for the beginners. It looks good everywhere you keep it. Comparae to other balls this ball has kept me in the court making me feel positive and happy.
It's a good quality, entry level, outdoor ball. I received it as a gift when purchasing The BEAST goal system. It seems to wear well and doesn't feel overly rubbery like a lot of entry level balls do. I would certainly consider purchasing it as an everyday outdoor ball when the free one wears out.
Probably the first Spalding product I wouldn’t recommend to a friend.Immediately out of the box, I was not impressed with the look and feel of this ball. There were several wrinkles in the panels, and the feel was really cheap and plasticky.Within a few hours of use outdoors on concrete, this ball showed months of wear and looked like a ball at the end of its lifespan. On the plus side, the grip became a bit better.I very strongly feel that Spalding has superior alternatives in the same price range.
