Great stem, but the color is darker than the photos. It actually matches kashima a little better than Raceface's kash money color. At first I wasnt too happy with the color, but it grew on me and Im pretty happy with it now. The contrast between the machined and cast ares makes it look like a piece of jewelry!

I have had nothing but a great experience with this stem on my Stumpjumper for 3 years now, so I had to order one for my new Ripley as well. It is a great minimalist design with a ton of color options as well as lengths to really dial in the feel of a bike. I found the green matched nicely with the OneUp Aluminum pedal color, and the bronze works well with my bronze Deity T-Macs. Also worth noting that this stem has a relatively low stack height, so it is a great option for those without much exposed steerer tubes on their bikes.

I ordered this for a couple of reasons. First, my current bike is running DVO suspension and green One Up flat peddles which match the DVO parts. I wanted a stem with the same Green. Spank uses the same anodizing place as One Up, so all the parts match perfectly. Second, this stem comes in less common lengths like 40 and 45, which I wanted (50mm was too long, and 35mm was too short). Third, I know that Spank makes solid, bomb proof stuff and this stem hasn't disappointed. Stiff, strong and looks good.
Love the stem and would have given it 5 stars but I feel I was mislead with false advertising. Already have the stem on one of my bikes and one of the main reasons for getting this stem was it cane with a star on the top cap. All pictures show that top cap but when it arrived the star top cap was not there. Very disappointed, almost returned it due to that but I do like the stem in spite of not receiving what was advertised.
A nice looking and well engineered product. Like how it shows a lot of the handlebar and has a nice wide clamping profile. Not cheap but good for what you get
I actually have the green color version of this Spank Split 35 stem. The stem is high quality like all Spank components I have had now and in past and color goes great with other Spank components with the same color and the overall color scheme of my bike. I also like that it came with a sealed top cap with it even though I am now running OneUp EDC Threaded version so can't use it anymore. This stem has a nice wide profile on the handlebar yet has a low stack height on steer tube which I really like and actually saved me when switched to a newer bike with a head tube that was quite a bit longerand also wanted to swap fork. Other stems I've used in past would have been short enough.
One of my favorite stems. Not only is this a beautiful metalic purple, it's a solid, well designed piece of quality component that'll look good on any bike. I've got 2 of these.
Changed my riding position in a positive way. Was the final piece of getting it right (after 3 years). Combined with Deity Highside 50mm rise bars. Good setup for myself as a bigger rider (275lbs ex-powerlifter)
Great color options to color match with your bike. Excellent fit and finish. This stem even includes a stem cap awesome product highly recommend it if your looking to upgrade your stem and bar combo or just want to add a splash of color to your bike I've rode renthal and deity stems in the past. This is by far my favorite stem of the group.
