I purchased these for my wedding and was so shocked at the difference they made to my shape. I've tried numerous different products over the years, but can 100% say it's worth investing in a really good pair like these. They are completely seamless and could be worn under both dresses and trousers. They were very comfortable too, unlike some other control shorts which can feel super restricting. I'd absolutely recommend these.

I have never worn shapeware before, so this was my first purchase. I wanted something to smooth panty lines on the fitted dress I purchased for my son’s wedding. Reading other reviews was very helpful, especially the ones that suggested trying it on a time or two before use. It does take a little time to get it on that first time, after that it went on quite easily. This Spanx shapewear is thin, comfortable and smoothing. It was just what I needed to help smooth out those panty lines.

This is good quality shaper. I liked that it was very thin and it was holding in my stomach. However, I am petite size and this shaper was too high for my torso and too long on my legs. I am 5’2” and weigh 125lb. I needed a shaper to wear under a very thin evening gown to make my body smooth. But it was folding under my bra which was displaying a major line under my dress. And my evening dress had an opening on the left leg and the shaper was very visible. Even if I wore it with my regular mini dresses, the shaper legs would show up.I wish the shaper companies would make shapers for short, regular, and tall ladies. :(

Really liked this. My weight is in my tummy. Nice support in that area, but not too tight. High-waisted, so there isn’t a muffin-top. The waist band doesn’t roll. They do not have compression in the legs, where I do not need it anyway. The legs are nice and smooth under slacks. The tummy compression is better than what I get with control top pantyhose (but still comfortable). And pantyhose aren’t high-waisted. These do not make me too hot. I’m very pleased.
These Thinstincts are impossible to put on! I am 5'2, 120 #, and wear petite size 4 or 6 petite. I have two pair of the older Spanx Thinstincts that fit me well, but the waistband of these new shapewear have no give. I could not pull these on past my thighs! The size chart says I should wear a small but I saw the other reviews and sized up one and two sizes. I could put on the medium or large. The company needs to look at the negative reviews of women who complain about the very same thing. I purchased the Shapemint and the fit was exactly as it should be. These Thinstincts are see through while the Shapemint are not. The shapement fabric is heavier than than the Thinstincts.

The medium I could barely even get over my knees and was tough to get on. Not what I wanted to struggle in to every time. The large didn't just glide on (it's a Spanx so it's not supposed to!) but was easily manageable and fit perfectly. Not too tight, very lightweight, gives a smooth appearance without feeling smashed in to something, doesn't dig in to the legs but doesn't roll up either, and the top part stayed put right where it was supposed to all night long! My salesperson said most people make the mistake of buying too small of a size and it will cause the top band to slip down after wearing it a while. I'm so glad I didn't let my vanity get the best of me and listened to her advice and purchased the large. It really was super comfortable to wear for several hours and I didn't even realize I had it on. My recommendation, size up, up, up!
After a certain point Spanx doesn't make a difference. Uncomfortable...yes it smooths, but I bought it for a textured dress. Spun around and I could see the legs peeking out. I decided to just be me and that's fine.P.S. Going to the bathroom was exhausting. Took them off and went commando after the second bathroom visit.
Beyond disappointed -- have same pair, same size in black (fall 2021) still going strong with heavy use. The back seam ripped on these during first use! Hoping it went unnoticed during my out of town event, and glad I brought my old black pair to see me through rest of trip.I always rec sizing up in these and appreciate the lightweight support and smoothing.But I find this drop in quality concerning.
They upgraded Thinstincts, and unfortunately, it messed with the size. In the former version, I fit comfortably in both the small and the medium but not the updated version. I'm 5'4", 128 lbs, and I could not get the medium high-waisted item on. I also bought the regular one (fits to the waist) and I was able to get that one up but it's a much tighter fit than the original version. It's a different fabric and a waistband has been added. I wish the original version was still available. I'm returning the highwaisted item.

It’s in the Mezzanine level (in btn level 1 and 2) in the lingerie section.I’ve worn bonds shapewear tights before with tummy control, but like most basic tights, they left a line in the centre of my abdomen from the seam and compression. Those were not comfy.This is way better. A bit expensive but they were good.
