Perfect coverage, durability, and comfort for lap swimming and water aerobics. Have bought this swimsuit many times throughout the years. Very satisfied. Am 67 and height/weight/proportionate (HWP). NOTE: Be aware that this suit requires good grip, and mobile arms/hands to get in and out of. It's like wearing an oversize rubber band until it's been worn multiple times. (That's a benefit, in my opinion.)

It's pretty good - they used to have a moderate, not conservative model, (I think), that fit me better - but it seem the moderate is no longer available. I had trouble finding what I wanted on the website. The sizing on some of the choices was in inches not standard sizes - that threw me off. The descriptions were very poor - for example, it didn't say whether they had a shelf bra or not.

Have worn the Dolfin Aqua Shape Xtralife Lycra fully lined lap suit for years, until it was discontinued. The Speedo had similar features to the Dolfin, so I thought I'd give it a try. I liked the color and strength of the lycra fabric as well as the stitching which defines the body's shape. What I didn't like was the size of the bra; it was too large, even though my measurements corresponded to the size chart. Also, during my first few swims, maybe about five, I experienced chafing and discomfort in the underarm area which made me contemplate ways to alter the suit. Luckily, the issues stopped; perhaps the material stretched a bit. I do believe there is too much material in the underarm area. Overall, I'm pleased with the suit's performance. I have been wearing this suit for years. I do water workouts and or lap swimming 3 to 5 days a week. It is comfortable and stays in place during intense workouts. No pulling and tugging (the primary reason I keep buying this same suit over and over). The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars from me is that it doesn't hold up as well as I think it should with the cost vs the Chlorine. The fact that it is fully lined is a plus, as the external material does tend to bleach out and start sagging relatively quickly. They usually only last about 3 months in the pool as far as the color goes. I can maybe stretch it another month or so before the lining starts getting that "see through" feeling in the seat. Overall it is a great suit with good fit and coverage.
I started wearing this suit in early September, and realized yesterday (early December) while swimming how stretched out the material is. The liner is still good, but the top layer is all stretched out. So, although I liked it - the chlorine resistance doesn't hold up. I purchased 2 Speedo suits and the other suit was not described as chlorine resistant. Both suits faded and stretched out similarly. I had been wearing Lands Ends suits, but they also faded and stretched. I thought I'd give Speedo a try. I wear my suits 3 times per week for 90 minutes each day and rinse out thoroughly using a squirt of Suit Saver and alternate between the 2 suits. I am going to reorder anyways, because it did work well for 3 months.
This is a FANTASTIC suit. Sturdy. True to size. Conservative cut. Fully lined. However,...it DOES become saggy and baggy over time. Know this before buying. Even though this suit may last longer than other branded suits I have bought, this is a major shortcoming. This site (Swim Outlet) needs to remove that description portion before they become liable for false advertising. THIS SUIT DOES BECOME SAGGY AND BAGGY....I wore it for only four months ...swimming three times/week...before this happened. Before the pandemic, this same model suit lasted me a year..lap swimming five times/week. Since pandemic...four months three times/weekly. Be aware. 3 Stars for positive aspects...
I love this suit! As a plus size person, it fits me amazing. Very few swimsuits have padding in them. This does and it make me feel more comfortable when swimming, rather than it making me feel insecure. The only thing i don’t like when swimming is it can cause a bit of drag in the top. Other that that, I have complete mobility, and can do any dry land stretch in it. Overall, a great product.
Speedo is a brand that I think of for durable swimwear that holds up to rigorous activity, like SCUBA or competitive swimming. However, they don’t really design these things for Amazonian proportions. I prefer a high cut leg for movement, circulation, comfort, and appearance. Speedo doesn’t seem to think that a high cut leg should be for anyone taller or with muscular thighs or curvier proportions. I tried this suit, and it “fits,” but it is constricting around the legs and not so attractive. It’ll do for workouts, I suppose, but Speedo, Amazons want to look nice, too, occasionally, and we like to have range of movement like other more petite types. I’m 6’ and built athletically. The high leg options did not come in my measurements. Disappointed.
I am very happy with the suit. I got a long size, perfect for my long torso. I also liked the fact that it was a Speedo, great for my getting back into swimming. I am a bit overweight, so it was really hard to face myself in a swimsuit. I had a couple of Lands’ End “flattering” swimsuits, but the straps and extra layer are not great for swimming laps. Overall, I recommend this suit. It might look better on a slimmer person. I am going to look for something with contrasting stripes the next round. Have to say, have kept up with the swimming because of this suit.
I purchased the Speedo Women Conservative One Piece Swimsuit. I was in-between sizes and had to return my first one and order a larger size. The return was hassle free, The shipping was fairly slow. I wore my new suit in the pool once and then every day on my vacation. I wore it in the ocean and the fit was great. It never became too loose and didn't ride up at all. It held it's color and shape. Very comfortable.
