Amazing goggles

To be honest I was a little sceptical about them. They are very small and when I put them on I was afraid they will not completely seal the water. But they are very good. A little bit uncomfortable, to be honest, but I believe this depends on the physiognomy of the face.

Pros: They're a lot better than my old cheaper alternative branded goggles, they allow clear vision under water and the mirrored finish is something I like.Cons: They can still tend to fog up and they can get a little uncomfortable around the eyes and on the bridge of the nose.

Pros: The look really cool, they never steam up or let water in, there is no resistance they hardly protrude from your eyes at allCons: They can with 2 nose bridge sizes but even with the biggest attached they are quite sore on either side of the nose around the eye, they pinch. Also I have been extremely careful with them by only having them out of the box when I wear them to swim, I even kept the plastic moulding to hold them in the case so they don’t rub on anything ever. Even though I take great care, after only 4 weeks of use the silver coating on the goggle eyepieces has started to wear and they already look tatty!

Pros: - The first few weeks these are really good goggles. - The adjustable bridge between the two gogglesCons: - Price, it's very expensive- These kind of goggles used to last for years but lately they only last for half a year before the rubber around the goggles starts wearing out and the clarity of the plastic becomes way less

19 February 2020

Pros: great product, the option to change the nose band to fit your face is perfect. The lenses are clear, provide a great view and they are comfortable to wear.Cons: Slight issue with fogging after 20 mins of continous swimming

Naomi's review of Fastskin Speedsocket 2 Goggle
29 May 2021

Pros: Comfortable, adjustable and don’t leave you with big rings round the eyes like some other goggles. Last ages although the fog coating does seem to wear off.Cons: Fog coating lasting longer if possible. Also maybe the option to buy separate straps as my last pair the goggles were fine but the strap snapped.

Nicholas's review of Fastskin Speedsocket 2 Mirror Goggle
10 March 2020

Pros: Design/Comfort/Fit: They look really stylish with there mirrored outer lenses and they are comfortable to wear as you can change the nose bridge to space them correctly.Cons: Design: In the description they say they are anti-fog, total rubbish. I made sure I didn't touch the inside or outside of the lenses. When returning home after their first use I made sure I ran them under cold water and left them to air dry. On their second outing they fogged up within two lengths of a 25m pool. This also makes the price of them way over priced. If they don't do what they say, then there not worth the moneyHence the 3 star overall rating.

I wear only the SpeedSocket2 for all my races! They are reliable and have not failed me.

Very good glasses
4 March 2020

The glasses are close to the eyes and the visibility is very good. It included several nose bridges, but the original fit me well. The double head straps ensure that the glasses are firmly secured during use. The package came in an unusually large box so it did not go into the mailbox, which meant that the shipment took a little longer than necessary. Still a clear five.
