Great suit for older guys who need more coverage. You can get 6 months out of these suits at 3+ times a week swimming in a chlorinated pool. I wish Speedo made the same cut suit out of their Endurance material, that way it would last a year.

My ONLY criticism of Speedo's presently named "Solid Dive Suit" is that it's currently only offered in black and almost-black Navy Blue, and in small batches that pop up on eBay rather than being offered as a regular part of the product line. I bet a lot of taller guys don't even know about this suit. I still have 2 or 3 of these suits (named then, I think, "5 inch dive") with nice colorful patterns - naturally I'm taking very good care of them, and in the meantime, fearful of this style being discontinued, I bought a spare suit last month in hideously dark Navy Blue. I'm 6'4" tall and those little bikini suits from Speedo and other makers would put me well into two or three categories for "shouldn't wear Speedos" (you can already infer that I'm not a teenager any ... MoreMy ONLY criticism of Speedo's presently named "Solid Dive Suit" is that it's currently only offered in black and almost-black Navy Blue, and in small batches that pop up on eBay rather than being offered as a regular part of the product line. With the Solid Dive suit I can have the drawstring at my waist, not several inches below. On the other hand, "shorts" style trunks, which I have tried, always catch on my thighs. I find them very uncomfortable, and nylon suits just don't have the stretch of Lycra. So, you get good coverage and good fit from a good maker - just help ME out by pestering Speedo for a few more colors or patterns.

I'm a confirmed lap swimmer. I do a half mile to a mile each time I'm in the pool. But my younger friends are joking about my being an old dude in a skimpy Speedo. This 5" style is perfect for me: It offers the same low resistance while covering more than the skimpier 2" models.

Great quality for the price.I wish there was more selection of colors to choose from.
Thanks!
Very good quality and fits very well .wish there were more colors to choose from that's the only issue I have .
Good suit, its in the middle of a speedo and a square leg. Decent coverage, significantly more than a speedo 1". The tie strings are a little wimpy.
