I bought this prior to receiving my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Spigen has seriously nailed installation. Especially installing it on a new phone which required no cleaning.When I installed this onto my phone I peeled the backing on the screen protector and kept that to the side protecting it from dust.I then peeled the paper screen cover that Apple pre-installs on new iPhones. I was then able to straight away (before dust had a chance to fall onto the screen) place the applicator on top of my phone.Rubbed up and down, waited the 30s as instructed. This one I’ve had for less than 24 hours and it’s a lint magnet, has prints all over it, and cleans very smudgy which is terrible. I will make both of these last as long as I can, but I won’t be buying them again. I’m super picky, so if you don’t care about the little stuff and just want your phone protected, this is the way to go. Anyways, all in all they’re not perfect but not the worst I’ve ever tried. I give them an honest 4/5.In case anyone is confused or needs more in depth instructions: wipe the phone with a wet wipe, wipe with the dry cloth, use a big lint sticker all over, make sure the applicator has the side with the pull tab face down (the side with the sticker with the numbers 1-3 should be face up), peel and quickly place the applicator down onto the phone, press in the middle and slide from 1 to 3, wait 30 seconds, peel from 3 to 1, lift up applicator, peel the tab off the screen protector, then squeegee out bubbles and you’re done. TIP: if you’re a perfectionist like me who despises even a single lint under the protector, before applying the applicator to the phone hold the screen protector in the right hand while blowing and getting ready to peel, then give one last good blow and very quickly peel and apply. This will ensure you get a flawless application without having to lift up the glass to try and sticker off any lint.Thank you for reading, I hope this helps someone out. I’ve attached photos including one of the back so people know this is a real review from a real paying customer with a real iPhone 13 Pro Max lol.
I ordered these screen protectors for my mother and I to apply on our iPhone 13s. I took off the paper from the phone and immediately applied the screen protector according to the given instructions. I have always done this in years past with no issue. There was no debris on the phone as i had literally just removed the factory seal and inspected it before application. This time, the screen protector package had some sanitary issues as both screen protectors had large pieces of debris when applied causing large, irremovable bubbles. Additionally, the screen protector has a very poor oleophobic and gets fingerprints very fast. The notch portion is so not cut to size and is too small. I’m very unsatisfied and would buy this product again nor would I recommend it.

The more expensive kits contain frames that help position the glass, but ultimately there is always a bubble from a single spec of dust. This kit has the frame and screen protector glass combined. You clean the phone glass with a very lint-proof towelette and sticker, then peel the film off the protector, place it over the phone which the frame perfectly aligns, press in the middle on the backside, peel the back sticker, and pull off the frame. Mine did not have a single piece of dust and did not need to be de-bubbled. The results were as if I had it professionally done. Today, while I was exiting the car, my iPhone slide out of my pocket and fell face down on the frozen ice-dirt mix. I checked the screen and noticed the web of tiny cracks all over the screen area. It was unnoticeable when the phone is on and the screen is lit. I didn't expect for the screen protector to make any difference in this case, but it worked like a charm. Just removed shattered screen protector and installed new on: $350 cad saved for a better use)) Highly recommended!
I hesitated before buying, as this is one of the more expensive screen protectors, but based on recommendations at The Wirecutter, I purchased it. At less than 3% of the price of the phone, it seemed to make sense. Very well thought out product, packaging, application kit, etc. Very easy to install correctly with the alignment tool provided. There's also a second screen protector in the box, perhaps in the even this one gets scratched or otherwise damaged. Overall very happy with the product.
