I love this little ring. I had a favorite case and the only downfall was it is not having MagSafe. This product changed that. So easy to install. Looks and feels great on the case. The magnet is super strong and it works well with my MagSafe charger.

Overall, this product does what it claims however the magnetic ring is not as strong as it needs to be for heavier, thicker protective cases. I placed on my Raptic Shield for iPhone 12 Pro Max and the ring just doesn't have the strength required to keep it held on my MagSafe car mount. May work better in non-mobile applications.

The magnet works well enough, but you do have to position the phone just so in order to maintain a hold and obtain charge while the car is in motion. If you don't have a good connection the phone will fall off. The adhesive holding the magnet to the phone case seemed to weaken after a couple of months -- I guess that's to be expected? Of course out of the warranty period. One edge of the circular magnet came loose and then started bending. of course at that point the magnet will not attach to the charger any longer. Just figure that you're going to be buying a couple of these every year.

Bought this so as to be able to use my current Spigen case for my Iphone 12 Pro Max. Fits nicely and centered. Magnet are very strong though which I did not expect. Generally, quite satisfied

To be honest i have just applied it on my pixel 7 Spigen thin fit case. I haven't tried it on any magsafe accessories. But as soon as i attached it NFC stopped working on some terminals. I had to take the case off and then use nfc payment. It happened on some terminals. But still disappointing.Btw I'm still a big fan. Make more cases for pixel phones: cryo, zero one, hybrid s, geo, air skin, enzo... Come on!
I made the mistake, and it wasn't clear to me until I took a second look at the product pictures. That's why there's a phone case in the picture (I actually thought it came with some cheap phone case) Then I read the front of the package "please install on the outside of your case." Boy did I feel dumb, but I have a feeling I wasn't the only one thinking it would work like this. So read the title one more time. If this review helps one person it's worth my time
The metal plate itself is sturdy and sticks very well to a flat surface on a phone. The alignment guide is excellent, but I wish it wasn't plastic or more environmentally friendly. However, that doesn't affect the rating of the product. The guide is great, but it only has a one time use.
Great to turn your non iPhone to use MagSafe products and accessories. Easy to install and applied with the guided plated. Fits and applies to any phone case (avoid any rough textured cases as it might not stick as strong as a plain case). Strong magnetic hold and no issues with the adhesive peeling off. Highly recommended for any non iPhone user to be able to use MagSafe products.
As the title says, it's great when lying flat on the desk, but it requires some adjusting to make sure it's attached AND charging on the magnetic Spigen adapter that goes on the vents. Also, the adhesive that attached the metal coil to the phone case weakened, to the point that the metal end came unattached from the case and bent. Now it's very hard to get the coil to stay attached to the charger. Unfortunately at 4 months out, it seems to be an unwarrantied item.
