Best Clear MagSafe ATM (revised)

So I’ll do my revision before my previous review. The case has been great, good magnetism, but as soon from several other reviews, my magnets came off the case when I took it off to soft clean the phone/case. I’m guessing product launch was a little rushed. - So, before I got my iPhone 13 Pro Max, I ordered some cases promising that they were mag safe ( let me add, I wanted clear )… they all ******. I came across spigen, well known name, saw they have a better version of what the apple branded one looks like and made the purchase. No regrets. The sides offer a great grip on the phone. The most important thing, I needed a MagSafe case that would hold my phone near vertical due to the belkin charger I paid a pretty penny for. Best clear MagSafe case!

I recently upgraded to the iPhone 13 Pro Max and this is my first experience with MagSafe cases. I tried Apple’s clear case, a Zagg case and an another off brand. Apple’s clear MagSafe looked great but case was way too slippery and the bottom is open. Zagg’s case is a bit too bulky and was also a little too slippery in my hands.This case is perfect. It looks great and there is a slight rubbery texture that provides a nice grippy feel. But, it’s not too grippy to easily slide in and out of a pocket. Also, I am using it with the Spigen OneTap car vent mount and it holds my phone securely. I highly recommend this combination!I have had no issues with the magnet being loose or falling out of the case.

Good case but little magnet falls out of case

Overall this is a pretty good case and solid value for you money. There is just one problem as others have mentioned. When you take the case off the little magnet sticks to your phone (which is good) but it comes out of the case. Seems like there is an issue where the magnet is stronger than the glue they use to keep it in place. If you never change or remove your case this won’t be an issue but if you’re like me and like to change up your case occasionally it’s quite a hassle. I’m afraid eventually the glue will become so weak I’ll just lose the little magnet at some point. Also don’t really need the “air cushion technology”’or whatever it says on the corner. Great looking case with color-matched MagSafe magnet, cushioned corners; minor yellowing will occur

In comparison to many others out there, this is ‘the original’ clear case with color matched MagSafe and it is definitely the one to get. I had one for my 12 Pro Max and just got this one for the 13 Pro Max. I got the grey to match my 13 Pro Max and the MagSafe is just a nice contrast vs. the bright white of most clear cases, which looks really bad in my mind. Plus, there is good coverage over the screen, the camera bumps and a small indent over the repositioned earpiece on the 13 series. But most of all, it is grippy. So many clear cases are likely to slide right out of your hand as they are so slippery. This one is grippy and feels good. Definitely worth trying it in my mind.

I LOVE this case. I bought the overpriced Apple mag safe case and within the first 2 weeks, a minor drop from my work desk cracked that high priced case!I had a Crystal case for my old defunct iPhone SE (1st Gen) until the phone basically died and it protected the outer shell of my phone flawlessly up until that time. So I’ve decided to go with you the Ultra Hybrid and I’m sooo glad I did because not only does it give me peace of mind but the high gloss finish of the clear case screams quality. I will go with Spigen for all my gadget case needs. Thank. You for making a high quality product and selling it a fair price. Definitely recommend to all my family and friends. Apple should be ashamed to charge $50 for a case worth about $10, if that.

Much cheaper than the official Apple case

I normally go for Apple cases, on my previous phones. I have had Spigen before as well. But the last two phones have had Apple leather cases. Both performed very well. But then most of the time my phone is in my pocket or plugged into the car.With the new iPhone 13 pro max I wanted to see the lovely colour that I had bought, still be protected and of course take advantage of the MagSafe charging.At the price point of the Spigen, you cannot complain. It’s rock solid. Have I done drop tests? No. But it fits excellently, looks like it would protect the phone from a fall if the phone hit the ground on the corners or back. But this is easily put back into its slot in the case.The only other thing, which is personal preference, is that on my last Apple leather case the bottom of the phone was exposed (the case grips to phone on the sides and top). The negative of this is that if had dropped the phone in a certain way I could have damaged that socket/speaker/mic area. The positive of this is that the swipe up gesture is easy. There is no restriction of the lip of a case.The Spigen, because it does protect the socket/speaker area doesn’t make it as frictionless to swipe up to unlock the phone. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a problem. I swipe and unlock without issue. But I just feel a case when I do it. But then again the speaker/socket area of the phone is protected.Brilliant case at the price point.

My favorite iPhone case brand

Got a MagSafe compatible hybrid clear case for my iPhone 13 pro max. I was able to charge on MagSafe charger with this case without any issue. I could mount my heavy iPhone on a MagSafe car mount securely. The case fits perfectly with my iPhone gripping is good. The only complain I have is it’s hard to get the phone out from the case.I’ve been trying different cases all these years and so far spigen is my favorite one. Its quality is great compare to other brands with similar price tag. My old iPhone 11 Pro Max was also using spigen. It was durable and last for more than 2 years till now. I forgot how many times I’ve dropped my phone and there’s no single scratch on the body.
