Repetitive and dull, Portal Knights might have nailed the mix of its elements if only it had more purpose and story elements. Instead, we get a survival crafter with RPG elements that has been better executed by the likes of the Dragon Quest Builders games.

The game itself is amazing. i love the gameplay and have spent almost 200 hours playing it over and over again. I loooove the building mechanics and have spent countless hours building a huge castle for all my characters.The problem is that there is a bug that has been present for over two years at this point that has not been fixed by the devs, who rather spent their time releasing a number of DLCs. This bug corrupts your save files if you have cloud save on, which completely ruines all my save files TWICE until i understood what the issue was. This complete disrespect from the devs really icks me and deflects negatively on this game as a whole.

My niece and I play this all the time. We totally recommend this game. I play with my fiance also. It is similar to mine craft and its a great family game or for children. You have two gameplays offline and online, its multi-player. If your kids like mine craft and there two little for it this would the game for them💖

A simple great game for kids

I bought this for my 8yr old daughter to enjoy her new Xbox and she loves it. Nice clear graphics for children, not taxing on the eyes. Easy to set up your players and plenty instructions to help you along the way. Great game for young and beginners and good value.

Fun game! Lots to do!

I love this game IV played it on Xbox one its a lot of fun to play and build! If u like building and harvesting games u will like this there are many different worlds inside the game there is always something fun to do (even for adults)

Good but not what is says it is.

Its a good game but its not really the gold throne edition. Apparently there isnt one fot the switch. I would have bought it anyway. Otherwise my son loves the game & its nice you can play offline just as easily as seeing he's only 5. It has a lot in common with Minecraft and Dragon Quest Builders, bc of the collecting of items and crafting g. But definitely different if your into those types of games and want something a little different to change things up.

Great game

There is no golden throne edition, but the game is fun and compelling and very nice. If you play on large worlds you will find the FPS drops a bit. But you can always turn down the graphics but on normal size it runs well. If you love rpgs and Minecraft this games for you!

Super cute RPG battler with added split screen goodness

Great Dungeons and Dragons lite elements brought to a Minecraft style world. Graphics are gorgeous and super smooth on PS4. Suitable for kids, with only mild peril, cartoon monster bashing and lots of gardening. Great fun for the whole family.
