Pricy, unnecessary and awesome. If within budget, or you have a special someone who's favourite game is Spirit Island then these are a wonderful option

Obviously these are not required, but they are very nice if you really enjoy Spirit Island. They simply are much more satisfying to play with than the original cardboard tokens, and they look really great too.These replace the main cardboard tokens (e.g. fear, beasts, strife), but interestingly not blight - I think they want you to hate handling the blight!These cover you for the expansions too.

These are wooden tokens to replace the cardboard tokens in the base game and expansions. Nothing more or less. They are more tactile and feel good to use but aren't worth it unless you play the game a bunch as is.

Great Add-on for a Great Game!

My family loves Spirit Island, so I decided to pick this up. It has prices that replace a lot of the cardboard tokens from the base game, the Branch and Claw expansion, and the Shattered Earth expansion (just the badlands tokens, not the element tokens). It also had enough of each to accommodate a six-play game, which was a great surprise!

Great but only for completionists

Great peripheral pieces for folks who absolutely love this game and want all the extras it has to offer. By no means necessary for proper gameplay, but definitely a "nice to have". Got it quickly and for a great price, would recommend.

Great quality product! Worth the money if you play this game a lot

Overall I am very happy with this product. Every single token is of great quality, improves the table presence and honestly enhances the gameplay for me. Small things, like trying to carefully pick up a thin beast token amidst an army of invaders is so cumbersome, these thick wooden tokens make that much easier. The wooden tokens are slightly smaller than their cardboard counterparts, which makes storage a little easier despite them being much thicker. Now obviously, a lot of people will hesitate to spend a whole games-worth of money on just an upgrade to a game they already own, and I certainly wouldn't blame anybody for not wanting to do so, but if you love Spirit Island enough and you play it often enough, I think this is a great investment. I would never encourage someone to upgrade every piece for every game they own, I would say if Spirit Island is a top 5 game for you then you should absolutely buy these upgraded tokens.

Great upgrade to an amazing game!

Well as others have pointed out, the strife tokens are a bit too small to comfortably put under cities. I can still balance cities in top, and it's really not a huge deal.Grabbed these on a sale, and absolutely worth it. Really take Spirit Island up a notch!

Premium Components At A Premium Price.

The wooden components in this pack are quite nice. If you have the money and play Spirit Island a lot, I think they're worth it. But they're nowhere near an essential upgrade. Furthermore, it bugs me just a little bit that they don't replace ALL the cardboard tokens in the base game - The "Spirit Ability indicators" don't have a wooden version (I think that's what they're called. They're the ones you're supposed to leave on the board indicating that an ability is affecting a region. I never use them anyways).
