The Spitfire Camo Classics blend in perfectly with whatever style of skating you take on. Manufactured using a 100% pure urethane compound, Formula Four wheels out-performed and resisted flat spots longer with less wear than all other wheels. Higher rebound for faster speeds over rough and smooth surfaces with a hard durometer for a smoother, faster ride that won't mush out over time. Designed with an exclusive anti-stick compund that gives a fast, consistent, smooth slide all the way through.

Nice wheels that stay smooth for a long time and don't get flat spots easily. A bit expensive but definitely worth the money. Highly recommended.

Personally, I find these wheels excellent, I have a good feeling when I ride them, I recommend them. The only drawback is the design, which unfortunately wears out rather quickly.

Rookie on street, coming from many pairs of Bones OG100A V4 Wide & OJ Elite Hardline Wide 99A, I made myself a treat and got one pair of lock-ins 53mm/99A, especially fpr the asymmetric shape and one of conical full (more similar in shape with what I rode, I thought). First impression - lock-ins are more \true to size\ - I\'m using narrower trucks compensated by wider wheels and I felt compelled to switch to trucks matching the deck size. Below 10 degrees (Celsius), I felt lock-ins having more rebound than OJs (same duro). Everything I\'m doing comes easier now - slides on rough concrete, flat ground tricks helped by the bigger radius of the outside, more control on grinds. I thought that it was just hype, but both compound and shape really eased my practice.
The rollers are the perfect all-rounder. Super grip when mann rides on smooth surfaces, and powerslides on rough street they also hold out! The shape is relatively round similar to Spitfire classic or bones v1 but wider.
If you like that classic OG wheels ride, then these are the wheels for those that aren't into the newer formula changes in wheels. Classic ride, slide and sound!
You get what you pay for, if you can afford them formula 4 wheels are always great. They wear extremely well and should last years, they generally don’t flat spot either unless you really try.Though the classic shape does not lock in quite as well as something with a straighter edge like a conical, the rounded edge of these allows it to slip into the grind easier.
Went from 52mm to 53mm and it is a positive noticeable difference. They feel a bit softer than the 52, and roll over crusty ground better. Have them set up with Tensor All Terrains, and Andale Pro Swiss and they feel like butter. Helps me feel a bit more confidence with landing tricks.
If the tablet and conical full had a baby it would be the OG classics. Formula four 99a, with the width I need in the 55 mm gets me through the crust. Round enough for good slides and flat enough for a good lock-in, best of both worlds. With a cut away design shaves some weight be and preserves the graphic. Great all around wheel.
I have 54mm Bones V1 wheels on one setup & these 52mm Spitfire tablets on another. Both sets of wheels are great. The Spitfires feel slightly more planted as they have a 5mm wider footprint on each wheel (20mm Vs 15mm) but both sets of wheels powerslide about the same. Neither wheel has shown any signs of flat-spotting but I mainly skate on smooth skatepark concrete. The Spitfires are noticeably smoother across coarser road surfaces, though. Locking in on a slide or grind with the tablets seems really good, too, but Im not pro skater so my tricks are pretty tame.
