For all the good reputation Stabila has for levels, I was disappointed with this. The bubble is consistently more to the left when the printed side of the level is facing you, than when the plain side is facing you, for the horizontal bubble. For the vertical bubble, they seem pretty close. I compared it with my 10 year old torpedo level by another brand that this was going to replace, and the other level also has a slight bias, but not as bad as this. It might be within spec, and it's only a tiny amount out, but I can see it and it annoys me. STABILA is the recognized name for Quality levels, this is another one added to my range of Stabila levels, recommended to me many years ago by my father who was a professional brick layer had his 3ft Stabila level 50+ years and it was still reliable and going strong even after falling from height several times. I've purchased my first one 35 years ago and its still reliable. I will always recommend Stabila.
Nice little level, the magnetic base could be a little stronger as it does tend to slip on vertical surfaces a little.
