This is like a marker and a pen had a baby. It’s plentifully inky, retains its thin tip, and the cartridge/cap are nice and sturdy. I’ve used this countless times, and it’s great for writing; it makes you feel like a king when everyone else is using a plain pen they stole from Olive Garden while writing their check. This pen is PERFECT for drawing, especially the small and finer details. The little swan logo is also quite pleasant and adorable. 10/10.

Honestly, I needed to add somethiing to my cart before checkout to get free shipping, so threw this pen in there. I LOVE IT. I sketch so figured I could use it, but this is a joy to draw and sketch with. It is bold and the black ink flows freely. This pen is not stingy with ink, yet it doesn't bleed or spill too much ink. Really great quality pen. I'd buy more even without needing to get free shipping :) Recommended.

Excellent Fineliners

I bought Eucalyptus, Ice Green, Pistachio, Mud Green, Grey Violet, Plum, Rust Red, and Strawberry. They're all nice colors, most of them can also be found in the Muted Set (with the exception of Ice Green being in the Pastel Set.) I considered buying one of those but the Buy 1, Get 1 Deal on the individual markers was just too good to pass up!I have the 40 Fineliners set by Staedtler (which are a hair finer and have a pale pink which is why I wasn't concerned about giving up the Blush), but as it turns out one of the turquoise colors in that set is almost an exact match for Ice Green! The two reds are also similar, just nowhere near as close, and they go really well with the reds from Staedtler. Strawberry ended up being my overall favorite! It and the Ice Green are more saturated than they appear in the sample and they're stunning. Rust Red straddles the line between red and brown which makes sense given the name but it and Grey Violet resemble the sample and their cap colors the least (absolutely swatch these bad boys out; it's just a fact of life with markers especially.) Eucalyptus is probably the closest to cap and sample; I really like it but I'd personally call it more of an icy color since it's soft and subdued. Mud Green is a very dark olive, it's also more brownish, and Plum and Pistachio seem fitting for their namesakes (Plum is also much darker than cap and sample but it's very pretty, almost velvety.) Grey Violet is a bit of a disappointment because it's much darker than I was expecting; it's pretty but most suitable for shadows (lol it matches the actual shadow on the cap more closely.) It's roughly the same value as Plum but less saturated. I enjoyed the Rust Red more because it reminds me of a nice Mahogany.Stabilo are good quality, the pens won't roll, and there are cute little swans embossed on the tip of the cap and the other end. I also like that they number their markers which makes using swatches a lot easier than with Staedtler, for example. These markers can bleed a little bit through thinner paper if you're laying down a larger area, like in a sketch book or an adult coloring book, so be careful. I'd personally use a piece of scrap paper in-between. I do recommend them! (Also, mine were shipped securely inside of a small bubble wrap sleeve with some other items.)

Excellent fineliners for price

I took a product design class where we could only use pens, so I bought a lot of fineliners. I was very surprised with how well the Stabilo Point 88 Fineliner pens flowed and worked as they were the cheapest option, compared to the Faber-Castell pitt pens, Micron pens, and Prismacolor fineliners. These are a wonderful budget option and I recommend picking up multiple of the blacks and greys, they are great for sketching and drafting at a wonderful price. The only tradeoff is I think they are not lightfast compared to the previous products mentioned, but if you don't need archival these are excellent and a joy to use.#sweepstakes

My 'Pen Friend'

I've been using' the black' in particular for several years now as I find them so comfortable and easy to use and though a little pricier than most 'everyday' pens, they're well worth it. They make writing fun and something I now look forward to, rather than dread as a chore. I do a fair bit of calligraphy and find these, more than 'passable' when used for this, especially in smaller items like greeting cards/invites etc...I always get compliments from recipients, so that's enjoyable, validation. Some great deals about and well worth 'the search'.FAB for all detailed/fine nib projects too! 5* product without any doubts.

My Personal Favorite

Great pen. I use Stabilo Point 88 Fineliner Pens quite a bit. I have tried other fineliner pens and other pens in general but I always come back to Stabilo. I use them for journaling in particular. They do not bleed through very much. The most you get is a bit of ghosting. They don't skip when writing (other than when they are running out of ink obviously). They don't dry out when you leave the cap off. Although, I think it is good practice to put the cap on when not in use. They are great pens.

Stabilo Point 88 Fineliner Pen 0.4mm Line Black Ref 88/46

I needed finepoint pens to write in the margins of my literature textbooks and my journaling Bible. My lit textbook pages are as thin as rice paper, so the pens had to be compatible. I am absolutely ecstatic over the results The 20 varied colors are vibrant and easy to locate without bleeding through the thin pages. I also appreciate the nondrying feature of being able to use the markers repeatedly while not having to open, cap, open, recap, etc. The icing on the cake is the sturdy, attractive, and convenient stand in which they come. The price was well worth the value. I could not recommend these more highly.

As a lefty, Ive struggled finding just the right pens and pencils to use. Sadly, the pens Ive used for years are no longer available. Thank goodness a young Staples associate also lefthanded offered to help me in my search for a replacement brand. He directed me to the Staedtler Triplus Fineliner Pens and explained the difficulty hes had finding pens that satisfy his needs. Besides working at Staples, he is also currently a student and writes a lot. He assured me these pens work well for him and would be right for me. Therefore, I decided to purchase a set and I am finding they are perfect for me. I have found an answer to my writing needs The assortment of colors is also a bonus

These are great for journaling and art.

I have used these pens before, but never owned them myself. So, I was eager to try out all the different colors. I was impressed with just how neon the neon colors actually were. Some pens say neon and are dull, but these were like drawing with highlights almost. The other colors were nice as well. The only thing is my dark purple was writing on all kinds of different papers as dark blue. I don't know if the formula was off or if it was a mix up. These are great for both line art and journaling. I used them to take notes and do fancy ink drawings. I use them as line art over my alcohol markers, but I do not recommend going over top of them with alcohol markers.
