I bought the 4h pencils . I use them in the joinery trade , and require a reliable easy to see line with the ability sharpen easily and hold a good point. I have been using them for the last 40 + years

I don't have to use much pressure to write anything. When I rub out there is less indentation in the paper than with a hard pencil. I use these pencils to do my sudoku puzzles, and when I use pencil marks during the course of a game, I need to rub out unwanted marks during the course of the game. They are also handy for writing plant labels..

These are good basic pencils with Staedtlers high quality manufacture. Theyre sturdy and dont break as easily as the cheap supermarket offerings. This was a good price for the quantity.
