This clay was very easy to work with. It molds well and as soon as it starts drying up, you just need to wet your fingers a little to keep working with it smoothly. The air dry time is not too long either. All together, I was very happy with this product. I got it, because it was half the price and weight as some of the other brands offered, and I just wanted to be able to try the air drying clay first, before spending more. Was very happy with my purchase and the finished product I made with it.
Easy to work with. Needs kneading to soften. Not messy. Used to make infant hands/feet impressions. Memorable keepsake. Put 2 holes (spaced apart like eyes using a straw) in top part of piece while clay was wet to hang with ribbon once dry. Also inscribed date and name on piece while wet. Light weight once dry.
This clay is supple and very pliable. I haven’t tried storing it to see if it will be as pliable after opening. It’s very easy to work with, air dries overnight and has a nice light weight but good volume unlike foamier clays. Only complaint is that flat items warp a little when drying,
Good air dry clay! Works well but for some reason comes kind of wet and sticks to fingers easily. However, it makes it easy to work with. I would stay this clay is for pottery style projects.
This is the first time I've used modeling clay. My project was to repair a well loved community ceramic chalice used by my unitarian congregation, This lovely ceramic chalice had a sizable piece broken off from it so it was no longer used. I hand molded the missing piece, may have sanded it a bit (it's been a few years), painted it with acrylic, and now it is used again and we can not tell where the repair was.Now I am wondering if I can use this same clay to repair a broken small bird bath, I almost have all the pieces, but the missing pieces would be under the water line. Is this waterproof? I guess we'll find out.
This is one of my new favorite products from Michaels; its at a good price point even better with the coupon. I used it to make Christmas, Thanksgiving & other misc ornaments. It was easy to roll out and dried quickly, its easy to sand rough edges after drying. Great for my purpose.
I like the air fry clay because it's really malleable, drys faster and is very easy to clean. There's no mess! And overall really good quality! Also, kids live it too!
