Functionality is there but for the price paid I would expect minimal flaw/good fitment. There was a chip out of the bottom that’s very noticeable whenever you pick up the plane and use the plane. Just something you think about every time you’re using the plane. Also the set screw doesn’t seat at the right angle so it always looks like the screw is cockeyed even though it’s tight in place. Not worth the near 40 bucks after tax and such.

It's exactly what I wanted. I had a second hand one with no depth stop. I bought this one just to get that! But it's worth it. The plane is excellent and required very little work to start planing straight away. Very fast shipping too.

The condition of this item was excellent. Minimal wear, all the parts that usually go missing were there. A few minutes spent honing the blade and this plane was up and working. This item was virtually new old stock.

There is no depth stop and fence rod. So the tool is useless!
Putting together the parts for a Stanley 78 scrub plane. There were other parts that I purchased to add to this frame. Total cost was in my budget, this being the final piece. Soon will be hogging off lots of wood to flatten boards without the investment in a planer.
