This is one of the best purchases I've made in quite some time. Bring it to a party or festival and nobody will steal your glass and your drink will stay cold (or hot i imagine) as long as it's not in your belly. Put a sticker on it to personalize it because they're becoming popular af.

Cured my drinking problem! (warm beer)

When I received my Beer Stein, I got a very favorable first impression. The construction looked solid and the lid fit flat to the top of the cup. I did have some doubt about the bottle opener though.So I washed it and put some ice cubes in it for my after work relaxation beverage. I was surprised when I returned 4 hours later to find thee ice intact without a drop of water in the stein!I poured my first beer. When finished with my first, I decided to try the bottle opener for my second beer. I found it awkward. This could be because I was holding both the stein and bottle in my hands. I suppose it would work much better if you hols the stein at on the edge of a table or railing with one hand and open the bottle with the other, Looking at the bottle opener and how it attaches to the hand seems somewhat fragile. I suppose I might use this for "emergencies" but I doubt it would hold up to regular use.All-said-and-done this is a big recommend from me. I enjoy drinking from the stein for the lip-feel and also the fact that it keeps a beer a constant temperature through the duration of drinking it. I actually think I pace myself better when outdoors because I don't worry about my beer getting warm! I only wish it came in a greater choice of colors.

Good and getting better. Still room for improvement .

I have a few of the original steins and have been happy with them. Thought I would give this a try as an open to be able to cover my stein to keep debris/bugs out. The lid does do those things, but I would prefer an option for a sealing lid that I could use on all of my steins. Other than that I have noticed that this metal lid does improve the ice retention.

Good sturdy metal stein.

Nice metal modern stein. Just finally got to use it and it worked just fine. Hate when Im out at forging or sales events and stuff gets in my beverage. This keeps the stuff out and seemed to keep the drink cool. Before this I would use an old ceramic stein but worried I might break it. This one seems plenty durrable and holds the right amount of beverage.The lid is a little stiff but im sure it will wear in. Lid has a good fit. Very happy after the first test drive.

If you are thinking about getting it, do it, you will be happy you did.

I absolutely love this thing, I also have the regular Beer Stein that I like to use for indoors. I like to use this one while outdoors, so that I don't have to worry about anything that flies, crawls or jumps getting into it because of the lid. I can also tell you that you can sit next to a bonfire and with the outside getting hot from the fire, the inside will stay nice and ice cold keeping your beverage the perfect temperature.

This Stein is solid, classic and beautiful.I don’t drink beer but I bought it for my sparkling water drinking.It keep it cold and keeps in the fizz.And, it looks beautiful sitting in my kitchen.I love the classic original green finish that has always hehe up so well.

Never gotta worry about the flying critters getting into my beer ever again! It is a good sized stein, comfortable to hold and having the bottle opener at the bottom of the handle is very convenient. Purchased another one as a gift for a friend, and he loves it.

I’m a stein snob and usually go with competing brands for this type of drink ware. I’m telling you joe that this stein is absolutely amazing. Holds a tall boy and keeps it cold and carbonated for hours. The design of this is so slick. Black on black. Bottle opener. Come on now. I got it as a gift and I thought it was cool. After I used it once I k ow this thing is coming with me everywhere. Super high quality. I’m not paid to leave this feedback. Just a dude who loves gear and this has my seal of approval. Outstanding beer stein. It keeps the beer frosty cold, a metal lid to assist in keeping the cold in and flying critters out, Plus a built in bottle opener and best of all it’s dishwasher safe.The best of all worlds !

Who wants a glass?

I recently purchased a Stanley stein with an uninsulated lid that should keep most insects and other contaminants out. I purchased a similar Stanley's stein with the insulated and lockable lid 2 or 3 years ago, but the lockable lid didn't open wide enough for someone endowed with a full adornment of "male chin moss", (a beard). The uninsulated lid opens enough to prevent that "thirsty chinchilla" and "damp whiskers" feeling from foam clinging to the insulated lid. However, the locking lid can't be beat for keeping a fresh pour from going flat for a day or so.My newer stein is significantly lighter than my older stein, (more of the weight can be beer).
