Works fine but you have to empty the chain bar oil after each use otherwise it leaks everywhere which is a deal breaker for me, it does say this in the user manual but I was not informed of this on purchase and I would not have bought it if I knew. Their knowledge of the products they sell is below standard and would not let me return it or even upgrade?

I have used many chainsaws felling orchard redevelopments, so I have dropped a few trees in my time.Within just 30 mins of using the old petrol saws your hands have a vibrating numbness running through them, your nose is full of fumes and you are sick of wearing earmuffs. And constant mixing and refuelling with petrol. Not to mention trying to start them sometimes.I am VERY impressed with this chainsaw. It comes with a 4amp battery but is compatible with the other V20 lithium ion battery packs. The 4 amp gave me at least 30 mins of full on use before needing to be swapped out. I felt much safer using this than the old petrol ones.If you have used petrol ones and then try this, you wont be disappointed!

I bought this after my petrol chainsaw gave up after 12 years. I don't require it to cut major tree growth, just up to 100mm diameter, and it does that without a problem

This is nice and light and easy to set up for the 1st time of using it. Battery lasted about 2hours of continued use.Sliced through tree without any stress .Would recommend this product
Bought this for cutting logs for fire. It exceeds what I thought it would be able to do, I had some 20" trunk logs and it went through them, cut half way in, rolled over and finished cut, it powered through them no trouble at all. Its weighty enough to be robust but not too heavy for me to use for a good hour. The battery will last around 2hrs constant use. It came with 1 x battery and also a charger. I love this chainsaw it's so easy to use, no messing about with petrol mixes and trying to get it started on cold mornings! Just press the button, it self lubricates the chain too ( you'll need to buy some chain oil, but super easy to fill ) and the chain tension couldnt be easier, and it's so quiet compared to a petrol one. Great cordless chainsaw, did the job on 6 metre conifers roughly about 20 year old trees only draw back that i can mention is the lack of second battery that would have been really handy, fortunately i did have an extra battery apart from that another happy purchase from the team at Toolstation ... Only gave this item 4 star for the lack of 2nd battery
Product appears well built and very similar to more expensive brands. Operates as expected have not used it to its full potential yet so cannot comment on battery life etc.

I love this chain saw, so easy to use for those had to get get places on the farm and around the house... just cut and past gorse, or unwanted trees, very light weight for getting up banks. This is a must... great for small fire wood... definitely yes and I am 68 year old female
Impressive little chainsaw. Nice and light. Only used it once, but it cut through several sizeable tree stumps which needed to come down. Only reason for not offering a 5 star review is the fact that the battery doesn't last that long, but will buy another battery as back up. Otherwise, really pleased with this purchase. It is going to be extremely useful and versatile for intended use.
