This toolbox is perfect for my job as a painter and decorator. It saves me going backwards and forwards to get specific tools required for the job in hand. Would highly recommend. 5 star product.

Although you might expect to find this type of case on a construction site or a workshop, I purchased this one for my partner, travelling hairdresser, so she can lug around her materials. Unlike the models that are available in the dedicated shops, a small stone won't knock it off if it gets stuck in the wheel and it won't fall off the curb or down the stairs. In this product, everything holds up and it eliminates the need for her to carry 2 or even 3 bags. Finally, being a hairdresser implies the need for liquids and water. The plastic bins are thick and resistant, I don't have any doubts on their capabilities. It's not very girly, but that's not really what is required of it. All that's left now is to accessorize in order to get the product as best suited for her ... MoreAlthough you might expect to find this type of case on a construction site or a workshop, I purchased this one for my partner, travelling hairdresser, so she can lug around her materials. This toolbox is a remarkable piece of kit, I love the three parts ( top box, fitting box, bottom box) I can easily store my hand tools in the top, all the fittings I need in the middle and my power tools and larger hand tools in the bottom, so plenty of space to fill. It’s on wheels so makes carrying all your tools much easier but can be quite a burden if you encounter stairs. A flaw I have noticed that even with all the compartments closed , I’ve seen the odd screw falling out a little hole towards the back, but nothing a few zip bags can’t stop. The sturdiness is very good, can take a beating and still opens and closes fine. Overall I think it’s a brilliant piece of kit and I would recommend to any one who likes to have everything they need in one place.

Already owning a Fatmax tool tray/box I am already hooked on Fatmax products.Having many tools, both electric and hand tools in various boxes I decided that I needed something to at least accommodate most of them. I have considered buying one of these before but having recently decided to move house I really needed to find something now.I looked at various makes but was immediately drawn to the cantilever action of this product. I suffer from various joint problems now after many years of manual work, so lifting, bending etc are quite painful. With this product I can move my tools around by myself, open the box up and find what I want. Unlike many other that have to be dismantled to get to various parts.I am really pleased with this and would recommend it.
Just purchased this tool box, Price is right ....considering its 90% Plastic. i originally was looking at the Craftsman toolbox..... its identical !! except for the for this one (The Stanley Fatmax) has a top tray in the top box !! The craftsman does not !! yet they are identical .... I asked an employee about it and he told me that the Craftsman product does not come with the tray but he could sell me one if i wanted the craftsman.....i went with the Stanley..............
Just bought this toolbox and it fits everything I need, neatly and organized. I like that it rolls out so I can see everything all at once.TWO BIG ISSUES1. Does NOT travel up or down stairs very well or at all. I tried the first time and the handle fell right off. I was able to put back on but that is a problem and was not able to go up the stairs at all. I came down very carefully not to have the handle fall off again.2. When lifting up into my truck there are no handles or grips to lift it up so I had to power lift it into my truck. These are enough of an issue that I will most likely be looking for a new system.
I bought this for a more organized convenient storage box. It is wonderful!! It has a large capacity in each compartment.. I love the large wheels. However, it is difficult to open. There should be a handle to help open the bottom. It is a bit awkward. Also, I wish the bottom compartment was a bit stronger. it feels like it is going to break while trying to open. And because the plastic is lighter, it does not close tight. It does close up, but looks like it is not tight.Overall, I am happy with it.
Bought this for transport and storing of tools of all shapes and sizes for general DIY. Able to travel well standing or side on. Keeps things locked away securely using the heavy clips and easily able to access all tiers while In stand mode. Hoping the wheels will loosen up over time and won’t easily detach, seem heavy duty
I bought this to use as my craft tool station, it now houses my wood whittling tools and pyrography kit, as well as loads of little bits and bobs associated with said crafts. There's plenty of room in the main box on the bottom, which is topped by a second box that has segments that can be removed to accommodate smaller stuff, which is then topped off by a toolbox with a removable tray, none of them are removable but that's not the point of this mobile workstation (there's another wheeled Stanley tool box for that which also has 3 toolboxes to it). No this tool station opens out in tiers and is supported on the wheel/handle setup so it's definitely not going to tip over. It's well made and very sturdy just what you expect from Stanley. i was so used to Stanley products being of good quality but i have to say the brand product quality is very substandard . I would say this brand is no better than the budget Rolson brand. This work station is made of very cheap plastic and easily breaks. Also if you do put any larger tools i.e. drills , saws or other cordless items then the bottom box will bulge.
