Hello, Still under the plumbing, when I work on the pipes of evacuation I am very satisfied with this saw which allows to make clean cuts contrary to a cut tubes which too often tends to break the pipe rather than make a very straight cut.
Used this quality tool to cut 4 sides of a 4mm thick pane of clear acrylic/styrene 120 x 120cm used for secondary glazing.Easy and comfortable to use. Good clean cuts and no burring.

I bought this to cut some polycarbonate roof sheets did a really good job also used for guttering
Seemed like a simple job but tried to saw plastic/aluminium plinths using a normal handsaw and they just splintered. Next was a specific jigsaw blade for plastics and I couldn't get a straight edge. Was recommended to use a stanley knife but it was hard work and keeping pressure on the plinth resulted in dents. Finally came across this saw and it was brilliant. Quick, easy, straight neat edges and no effort. Using the right tools and all that is true but finding the right tool is the difficult part . .
After 40 years of DIY projects and cutting plastic with whatever was available, hacksaw, reciprocating saw, jigsaw etc., I purchased this saw for just a few bucks thinking what they heck,it's worth a shot. I understand that using the proper tool for the task at hand is important, but I wasn't even aware that there was a handsaw offered specifically for this purpose. This thing cuts fast, smooth and straight. I wish I'd come across this saw years ago and I recommend every home owner to have one in there arsenal. As a side note, I would suggest to never cut anything but plastic with it. and it should last a lifetime,
