The low setting isn't hot enough to properly melt even Stanley's own duel melt sticks, the mechanism fails to push new sticks through so you have to do it manually whilst glueing, and the stand is useless because the cable comes out of the bottom of the handle, so it always falls over.

I hadn't used a hot glue gun before, but this unit is compact and quite effective, particularly for the low cost.
