Stanley won’t stand by their product and cover it under warranty. I’ve purchased six of these water bottles and within four months for tops broke. Stanley sells replacement tops for all of their other products. They do not sell it for this one. All it takes is a very minor nudge for it to tip over and the top cracks and leaks rendering the bottle useless. It’s unfortunate that they’re unwilling to stand by their product or to fix the defect because this water bottle kept ice cold for 16 hours in the hot Florida sun but if the top won’t keep it sealed it doesn’t matter. I will no longer buy any Stanley product because of the massive amount of frustration dealing with their customer service for three months to find out that they would only cover one of the four bottles.

I bought this water bottle for my 12 year-old son for Christmas, and he loves it! It is stylish and practical while looking cool and handsome. It is completely leak-proof and keeps his water cold for days!! He keeps it in his backpack at school, and it never leaks a drop on his papers. I never write reviews, but this bottle was too great not to. Excellent job, Stanley!! This water bottle is absolutely wonderful! There are no cons what so ever. I would recommend this to anyone and if you haven't already, buy this water bottle now. It is worth every penny and so worth the hype!

The bottle itself is great. Bought for my daughter to take to school. Keeps her water cold all day. And fits perfectly in her backpack’s side pocket. However, she dropped it one time and the lid broke. Since it was her fault it’s not covered under warranty and for some reason Stanley doesn’t have replacement lids for this style. I had to order her a whole new bottle. So that was money wasted and a perfectly good bottle sitting around not being used. Reading reviews it seems this is a common occurrence. Stanley you need to get on that. Until they offer replacement lids I wouldn’t recommend this bottle for kids or clumsy adults

I got one of these from my mom for my bday and it is by far my fave water bottle (and I have tried dozens!) Not only does ice stay frozen for days, it doesn't have any crazy parts that nees to be washed or maintained. I have been pretty gentle on mine since I cherish it, but I imagine if it were tossed around it would get banged up pretty quick. The lid locks and has a handle and no straw. The lid flips back/open when you press the button. So far there's been no issue with it staying open, but it could get loose after awhile. I don't think that would be an issue, because the way I hold it, I'm able to hold the lid back with my finger. For me the way the water pours out is just right, I can drink quickly, but the ice generally stays inside. In love!! Difficult to scratch exterior. No water downed iced tea, just like when I made it, but 12 hrs later in a hot parked car, in Southwest Florida sun! Put it to the test and it held ice for almost 3 days and kept fluids with no ice, fridge temperature, for 28 hrs and was still cold 2 days later. I haven’t put a hot liquid in yet, but I have utmost confidence I’ll be extremely pleased. It has a wide mouth opening that’s much easier to drink from than any other travel cup I’ve found. Makes it much easier to clean as well. I’ve tossed it all over the place indoors and out and yet to have a single scratch or dent. Smooth surface in case you wanted to sticker bomb it. This has easily become my favorite Stanley particularly when I'm not home. I use it every time I head to a doctors appt or a quick trip to visit friends or family. It doesn't leak and is so convenient. The flip top can be opened with one hand which makes it really easy to use especially while driving.I gave both my sons a smaller one for coffee & a larger one for water. They love how long it maintains the temperature.I would & have recommended this to others.Thank you!
Bought 24 oz model. Likes: price, fits cupholders and hand nicely, flip-top lid backed by locking clasp, and lightweight relative to other S-Steel double-wall tumblers. Concerns: flip-top does tap forehead when bottle is turned up. I think a tighter spring would remedy (like Owala’s). After reading reviews, I’m also concerned about dropping and breaking lid easily. From reviews, sounds like maybe Stanley would replace the whole thing. Like others, hopeful they’ll make replacement lids available, and remodel them for durability.

I now have 3 of 24Oz and 1 of 32Oz, different colors.The coloring seems pretty durable being the mug has been transported with other metallic items several times. lid is very solid, more so that the overpriced name brands, I have not gauged how long hot/ cold will remain although refrigerated liquids stay cool until after typical work day. super easy to wash and keep clean. gaskets come off easy for cleaning, easy to replace post cleaning. fits in most cup holders whether vehicles etc. I like the metal hanging strap a lot. the interior looks like actual stainless whereas majority of cheaper mugs have faux layer of some type of poisonous metallic coatings which I no longer trust.I will continue to purchase Stanley not only due to the quality but pricing as well.
I actually ordered two of these by mistake. I thought I was ordering a trigger action hot beverage bottle for my husband. I kept them and have been using one of them. It’s easy to hold onto and grab during a workout. The ice in it does not melt. I have some ice remaining since yesterday. It locks well and has not leaked. I like the clip on it and this will be my new bottle to fly with. It is tall so storing it in my cabinet won’t work. I tried to upload a photo , but the link didn’t work.
