It utilizes a push-your-luck mechanic similar to blackjack, but it adds just enough complexity and strategy to distinguish itself. If you push your luck too far and go over the limit, you're not necessarily done, because card effects can still alter your situation, and hidden strategy cards that both players choose before each round can cause some last minute changes to the win conditions. It's short, it's fun, and the Star Wars theme is implemented well.

This is a rare release from FFG. Its a completely self contained game without any expansions or add-ons. Its rare because FFG's business is about selling extras. This means the game is balanced and really doesn't need anything extra. The gameplay is fun. I am giving this game 5 stars because it stands on its own. However, I think Star Wars is a bit of a hard sell right now due to the controversy. So I can understand if you pass due to the theme. Granted, this game is all based on the original Star Wars cannon so can still be enjoyed without the corruption of Disney.
Pretty fun, not overly complicated, cards have nice stills from the movies; all in all, pretty fun little game.
Great little game for when you want something fast and fun. Especially for those nights when you dont' want to wake up your kids or just want to have a little fun with a friend or loved one. The theme isn't strong but it's great seeing all the pictures from the films and somewhat reliving those wonderful Star Wars moments. If you love star wars definitely check this game out.
The best part of this game is the small box and footprint, it can be taken anywhere. A decent game too.
I played against my 9yo son, and he wiped the table with me. I didn't win a single objective! So, it's a great game for kids and adults alike!
I got this as an add-on to an order. It's a fairly simple card game for two players. It's great to play quickly with a partner when time is short (or road trips)!
This game plays in 30-45 minutes for 2 players. Although card pictures are different both decks are the same, with the exception of characters whose powers are different, but balanced. The strategic value of this game as well as the enjoyment goes up if you play the same opponent multiple times. The selection of starting characters, as well as chosen strategies for each round, combined with different random objectives make replay value very high. Good card stock, a solid set of rules and gameplay make this an easy, no regrets buy at its price point.
