The product has quality. It’s a cute novelty toy. Its has no educational value. The sound effects are clear the batteries seem to last as it goes into sleep mode after a time of inactivity. The face is soft “ fleshy” like. Certainly not hours of entertainment for the active youngster. ( I try adding videos, they just don’t show up unless you seek them. )

My daughter is Grogu mad and so begged and begged for this to add to her collection. It is honestly the cutest thing with the little sounds it makes and realistic movements. My daughter constantly plays with this constantly (and me when I'm cleaning her room. Shh!) And it's battery life is amazing with it showing no wear and tear at all. Great product.

This figure is absolutely amazing! From the very start of opening the packaging there are so many tiny details on the figure, that pictures just don’t do it justice! Adorable & Perfect for Star Wars Fans!

I couldn't be anymore ecstatic since I recently recieved this Star Wars The Child Animatronic Edition! He is absolutely adorable! My 6 year old daughter really enjoys playing pretend with the child and watching him harness the power of the force and patting his head and watching his realistic life like motorized movements, while he moves his head and ears back and forth, and watching him open and close his eyes! I can't help but to call him baby Yoda, even though he is the child, since he resembles him so much! He makes over 25 sound and motion combinations including cute giggles, and babbles and can also take force naps and closes his eyes and makes snoring/ breathing sounds while doing so. I just wish he had legs and his feet weren't flat against his body, besides that, he would make a great gift for a Star Wars fan, The Mandalorian fan, or collector, and I recommend him.

This Snake Eyes is everything he should be! Superarticulated, highly detailed sculpt with lots of subtle detail and color variations, great accessories, and a very good overall design. My version is the exclusive version, but just the basic figure (enclosed within the larger exclusive set) is already a huge win.I desperately want retro, Sunbow-cartoon accurate figures and I very much hope Hasbro will go that route soon, as they are on other brands like Star Wars and Ghostbusters and as Neca is doing so beautifully with the Turtles. But this new design of Snake Eyes is a great example of the value that new designs, and especially updates of old classics, have to offer as well. A local Walmart had this available for in-store purchase yesterday, so I took the plunge. I already own 8 different plush of The Child from Hasbro, Mattel (2 different), Pillow Buddy, Build-a-Bear, Manhattan Toy, Disney Store and Gemmy, so from that perspective, I will comment this The Child toy is one of the smaller in size, description notes 6.5 inches, which makes it compare in size with the Hasbro talking plush released earlier this year and the Manhattan Toy Lego plush. If that little demonstration didn't knock you over with its cute factor, maybe this toy isn't for you. The only cons so far are price point right up there with the fully loaded Build-a-Bear, but toy only a fraction of the size and hard, not huggable body. The pros are cute, cute, CUTE, always off the Richter scale with this little one and evidenced by how Mandalorian The Child merchandise is flying off the shelves, this character has massively broad appeal across all age groups. Did you notice it even comes with a Mythosaur necklace? Buy now or risk holiday disappointment. Grab some spare AAA batteries too while you're on Walmart's site. The Child can close his eyes to take a nap, but he shines brightest when he wiggles his ears, it would take a real Scrooge or Grinch to pass this by in the toy aisle, parents you've been warned, buy you will!

Grogu Animatronic Edition

With Mandalorian Season 3 coming up, having this toy is still a pretty cool product to have if you're a fan of the show. The movement is fluid and smooth. With the way it opens its eyes, allows for ears to move up and down, and the sound quality is nice and loud. Paying a premium for a mini robot that mimics certain actions you see from the show makes the experience that much more enjoyable. Allowing for a removable necklace was a nice feature because your kid or whomever could wear it as well. When you prop it up, it stands pretty good and when he moves, it's just amazing. Hasbro did the character justice by manufacturing such a toy. It's great as a collector's item and/or to interact with!

Shame on you Hasbro you deleted my post. You only created a small number of these and limited who was able to purchase one. I was unable the day they came out to secure one. Now they are going for 5-8 times their original market price. Either this is a business error on your side, since supply and demand for this product, at least the demand portion is very high, You are letting people price gauged your own product and you refuse to make more for what reason. The person in charge of that department should be fired. It seems based on preorder sell outs as well as Walmart, Target, ect sell outs that this line was a hit. If you are a Star Wars fan or a fan of The Mandalorian TV series, then you will love "The Child." Also known as baby Yoda, this little fella is about as adorable as you can get. It's a definite must for any collector, and big kids will go crazy over it as well. The only negative I will say about this product is it is much smaller than we all anticipated. He is only about 7 inches tall. For it to be more effective, I think it should be twelve inches or taller. The size is what I liked most about this item. It's about 7 inches tall. It's not that tall, and it's perfect in every way. You can set it on a shelf, and still softly tap/pat it's head with enough clearance, or you can store him away in a place that's safe enough to preserve him, since its size it compact. When I took it out of the box, I went to put batteries in it, or try to, and then it started moving, because it was on already, on the try me mode, which makes me wonder if there was movement in the box from the different levels of gravity during it's transit to me, or if it made sounds, and freaked out the delivery drivers when moving it while in transit! I do a lot of shopping online, and the availability for it kept changing, so, when I seen shipping was available, I immediately put it in the cart to buy it, and am so glad, because minutes later it had sold out, and wasn't available for shipping anymore. This item very closely resembles the real character, The Child in The Mandalorian Star Wars show. Once I seen this little guy in the show, and how he acted, I was hooked, and now with this toy, I'm even more hooked, buying everything lately of The Mandalorian merchandise, mainly of this character though, The Child, also known as Baby Yoda. He comes exactly as the photo looks, but the necklace is stored on the side of the packaging, next to him, and visible; you have to put it on him yourself. The battery storage requires a screw driver, that makes it a little difficult to change the batteries, but it is what it is. The on switch is on the lower back side, with 3 options available which is the try mode, plus the on, and off modes. And, then, once again, the size of this little guy is what, makes this item so neat; very portable, and convenient.
