The character has been reintroduced into Star Wars in the series Rebels and Zahn's own new canon series aptly titled Thrawn. From what I gathered of Rebels, the character is there in name and appearance only any only bears a passing resemblance to the original Grand Admiral we came to fear and respect.But anyway, the figure only comes with a small sidearm. He is well sculpted with good articulation in the joints. Notable exception being the hips, but with a uniform like his, what can you expect. This gives my kids something to hold while I read them Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising, and The Last Command. A series that brought together a unified fanbase and didn't attempt to push an agenda over good story telling.
