I love head to head deck builders (like Hero Realms, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Battle - Defence Against the Dark Arts, Paperback, etc.)Star Wars: The Deckbulding Game doesn't deviate greatly from the standard formula, but the beautiful little touches it has make it extremely engaging. Some cards in the market can only be bought by one side, but that means the other side can use its attack to assassinate those cards. Then you even get a different benefit depending on the card. Destroying the other players base is very satisfying. But watch out - now your opponent gets to chose which planet is their new base. And it may have some great new abilities.After 5 plays, I can say that this is now my go to 2-player deck building game.

As a passionate fan of the Star Wars franchise, I find this game to be an excellent addition to the series. Based on the well-regarded Star Realms game system, the incorporation of the Star Wars theme is seamless and adds an exciting dimension to the gameplay.
