The game is amazing, graphics are on par with what we saw in Cyberpunk 2077, albeit yes the facial animations aren't as elaborated but they are decent enough. Yes, it's not like No Man's Sky, ship combat and exploration is more suitable to a traditional Bethesda RPG. Yes, they compared it to Skyrim or Fallout and rightly so, combat feel very Fallout and the Skyrim influence is there, with the dialogues in first person and the looting. No minimap, to imitate the early RPG experience from the 80s or 90s, so you take a pad of paper and draw some stuff and note some stuff, they even sell an official notebook to help you with that! There's a compass at least. To me, it's an amazing game, it combine all the best from past Bethesda titles and expand on them a little, try some new stuff too and even push some limits when the occasion rise. Don't expect Skyrim combined to No Man's Sky and you should find it good enough, especially if you already like all of Bethesda games. The collector's edition is one of the most impressive I've ever seen and it's so different from the usual statue + art book + cd soundtrack + tidbits we so often see the past few years. The watch isn't as full fledged as the Apple Watch or Wear OS but it's good enough, it's well made and I wouldn't recommend wearing it everyday, more like something to geek out in few special occasions, like surprising people at a wedding while wearing a watch, or annoying your brother-in-law, talking about Starfield to your grandma or even showing up unannounced at the cancer ward of the hospital to show how amazing the watch look on you, while giving out free candies, that sort of stuff you know. The patch is well made, the watch box is a piece of art by itself, you could always throw away the imitation foam and make it a small (very small) lunch box to annoy your boss and coworkers for months, or at least until Christmas. Well, I write too much no? That's not enough words to me...Is it late already? Well, I conclude saying that putting the code on a metal stick inside the steelbook, filled with better quality foam, was a surprise, I was expecting an empty DVD case to put a disc that doesn't exist in this edition. Well made! Touché, Bethesda, touché!I will sleep with the watch and I will look at the magnificent steelbook every night from now on until my last breath. Overdramatizing thing is my specialty.Well, grab your controller and play this game already, it's been 8 long years, maggot! For all, into the starfield!

That is changed out for awesome metal keycode for download and play anywhere (PC or Xbox). That keycode itself is awesome, feels great in your hands, and makes you forget about not owning the disc.My overall is a heck yes on snagging this collector's edition. If you love Starfield, Bethesda, or this type of game, you won't regret this pick up.5 Spacer Stars out of 5!

I only found out about this game and the features this morning when I logged into Steam. I watched the whole run-down on the game and saw the creators talking about the watch, case and patch. I thought the game looked awesome and wanted to see about getting it when I noticed that it was possible to pre-order this special edition "Constellation" version. Looking online, all the regular retailers like Walmart, Best Buy, Amazon and Game Stop were out of stock and I was pretty much told the game is completely sold-out and it was no longer possible to pre-order it. I decided to try Bethesda's website and found they have a store and they sold all sorts of games and stuff for the games. I looked into this special edition and found it was also "out of stock". Some said they just kept checking back and got lucky that one appeared available. So I did the same and after waiting about 30 minutes, one came up for purchase, so I snagged it.I don't know how many they plan to sell, (if it's a limited number), but it's worth it to keep checking multiple times a day to see if they put some more stock up. Perhaps its buyers remorse and some people are turning around and cancelling their order......Is that even possible to want to cancel it??? Anyway, keep trying.

I was as excited as anyone over the new Bethesda IP, so I bought the XBox Premium Edition as well as the Steam Constellation Edition. I've personally purchased 6 different versions of Fallout4, so it's safe to say I'm a fan. However, I'm disappointed with Starfield. It's a pretty game, but the excessive reliance on cut scenes and fast travel take away from the experience. Additionally, the building, mining, crafting systems that I was such a big fan of in Fallout4 seem to be seriously buggy. I tried building and decorating apartments, only to have all my work, as well as all of the collected souveniers on displays vanish, not just in one place, but every apartment I tried to decorate. There is no persistance within ships for decorations. Any placement there is undone as soon as you use ship builder. The placement of ladders and hatches is also maddening...In any case, I've finished the story, as well as all of the faction lines, and I've put the game away. There's no reason to build, or mine, or decorate...No impetus to explore that part of the game, and the 'redo your life' cycle for new game+ is not appealing to me. So, I went back to Cyberpunk, which has been a joy.
The game is fun and the digital code will come in handy if the game ever leaves my Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership. Right now I was already playing the game for free as part of Game Pass. The watch is nice and shows notifications from my phone, steps, weather, my skin temperature, barometric pressure, compass heading, magnetic information, etc. The only problem I have is it doesn't beep when it gets a notification so you don't automatically know when one arrives. It shows on screen for 30 seconds and you get an icon on screen after that, but I miss time-sensitive ones until I decide to check for them later. Also, you can't send the notification to my phone like I can on my Samsung Galaxy Watch. It is still pretty cool and the case is great as well as the credit ... MoreThe game is fun and the digital code will come in handy if the game ever leaves my Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership. I got my constellation edition today and just want to say, wow Bethesda you did amazing! Please work with the wand company in future! The watch is a smart watch, yiu use a all but it has alot of standalone features which are amazing. The display case is sturdy plastic and metal and looks amazing. The watch comes with a fabric nato band or rubber wrist band for your choice on wearing for the watch. Only co.iabt be it's usb micro, not usb-c for charging the watch, but that is a very very minor thing as you get a micro cable (but short but there is one.) The watch tells ya moon phases, atmospheric data live, has built in compass, allows you to control music on your phone, get and see notifications from your phone. It has a weather setting tok but looks like the starfield app doesn't have that function added yet. Given what was said in June how the watch works in game too, I'm curious to see how that will work (assuming steam app and starfeild app or Bluetooth to computer) or if it doesn't that is ok as right now its pretty great as is. It's sized like a normal watch too, not a brick on your wrist (apple watch). Highly recommend this!
From the packaging to the product, these are very sturdy and quality pieces. The look of the watchcase is fantastic, and the latch mechanism is icing on the cake. The case is pretty heavy, don't put it on anything that is not up to the task. The watch looks great and has more workable functions than I anticipated. I watched my PC raise the room temp. 8 deg Cel. on it while playing the game. Easy to use app to download with it. Definitely some work and thought were put into this. The credit stick with game code is another SOLID piece. Enough so, that it could possibly be used as a weapon in case of an alien attack. Looks good and packaged within the steel "game" display case. I have owned many different collector's editions in my time, but none have ever hit like Starfield's. Bethesda have outdone themselves with the quality of all products involved. The box is thoughtfully design to reduce material waste while staying true to universe. The actual products themselves are top tier quality, with the watch stealing the show. I can't help but play with it all the time and admire how well made it is and how true the Wand Company stuck to the theme. Finally, something I can wear from a collector's edition that won't arouse suspicion (turns out, people get nervous when someone walks around with a Power Armor helmet and it's NOT Halloween). I just want to commend the team on a fantastic job producing the greatest collector's edition that I own.As for the game itself, it was difficult enough to pull away from it to write this review, but I think it's most important to point out that Starfield is truly an ambitious game. There is quite literally an unreasonable amount of stuff to do. If you like Bethesda's other titles, you will love this. If you've never experienced a BGS game before, this is a heck of an act to follow. For me, this one has cemented them firmly as one of the GOATs in the industry, hands down. Now, I must get back to my ship. It beckons.
The Good: I was very hesitant about giving Bethesda this much of my money after that company’s…recent history but still decided to give them a fair chance. The product arrived earlier than expected. Product was as described which left a lot to be desired. The Bad: The truth is that this is just an overpriced novelty item set. Super cheap and underwhelming watch with very little to offer when compared to other $300-$500 digital watches on the market, yes this product is being price-gouged by some sellers. The Ugly: Overall I wouldn’t recommend this product even to the die-hard Bethesda fans.
Watch is a solid piece. It us not a traditional smart watch. It is simple and not touch screen. You don't use any additional apps other than what is included on it. Buttons are fairly straight forward. It's a smart watch for someone who doesn't like smart tech.Rest of the packaging is good. The case feels well made. Only complaint is the red latch does not feel like it grips as much as I would like, but it doesn't flop open either.Credit chip is solid metal. Good heft. Sleek. Would have been cool if aside from the game code, it had its own unique serial number. Also if you compare it directly to the game its not 100% the same. Not as thick, and some of the text is different. Almost like the chip design was set then they adjusted the game asset? I duno, but a mi or ... MoreWatch is a solid piece.
