My Humana insurance pays through my flex card this annual fee for food. I'm very sorry but I cannot afford a tip. I'm 65 years old on a very fixed low income I'm scrapping for food. I can pick my own grocery up and prefer to do that because my neighbor the crackhead downstairs that Eric was talking to had plans to steal what Eric left. I heard the two of them talking and that's the only way I knew that my grocery was set on my steps. Eric didn't knock on the door to let me know that he put my food on my steps with my neighbor the crackhead waiting for him to leave so he can steal it. I hope that you all can call me when Eric is on the way to drop off the groceries so I can hover over the front door and my neighbor won't beat me to my packages. I prefer picking my items up but if this is the way this free food program works I just have to go along with it. but I do not have money for my free food. I'm very very sorry I cannot pay a tip because I don't have a dime. please let me know if I can pick up my food myself from my local Walmart which is my favorite store.

I recently went to the store and purchased a decent amount of groceries and other stuff. When I got home I realized I had forgotten the tuna. I ordered the tuna, like I had done before, and added a couple other things too. When the box came the tuna cans were all dented, unwrapped from each other, and fell out of the box onto my floor from the bottom of the box. I was sooo upset!!! I tried to talk to people but apparently certain chats are only for certain reasons. They don't make returns or replacements easy for you!

I've bought Star Kist Tuna throughout the years, and never had an issue. Until now. All 3 cans that I opened were the same. I found little bones in all of them, lots of black stuff which appeared to either be the fish scales or the guts. The color of the tuna was the color of the dark meat that you see on a turkey leg, brownish with a tint of red. Also, as I was draining the oil from the tuna, I lost a lot of product simply because a lot of it was so mushy it just slipped out with the oil. I was thoroughly disgusted with what I saw and threw the cans of tuna away. It looked so disturbing, that I was afraid to even feed it to the stray cat that roams my block. Never again will I buy anything from Star Kist.

My son fed my fur babies the tuna and they became ill and are currently being treated for food poisoning. Upon inspections of the item, I found that 80% of the cans are dented. The damage did not occur during shipping, because the shipping box was intact and perfect. I was knowing given the damaged items. I reported it to the club and supposedly, I am being issued a refund. The bigger issue here is the health of my cat and kitten. Also, the expensive vet bill that I am now responsible for!The act of providing customers with damaged items is despicable!
I usually only eat the premium albacore tuna, because I’m a food snob. No matter how broke I am, I always think it’s best to spend the extra $1 a can and get the better quality. But I get an 8-pack of these every 2 weeks for my 7 cats. They LOVE it!! And it’s the same price-if not cheaper-than getting the processed canned Friskies food I was getting them.My older 15-y-o cat was getting so fat and looked like she was getting diabetic-her eyesight began to get blurry after feeding her canned Friskies for only a few months!! So, I switched to this tuna-light stuff as a treat-and her health has improved SO SO MUCH!! (I still feed them Purina Complete-which seems to be good for their health.)It’s incredible the change in my cat’s health! She’s back to a healthy weight ... MoreI usually only eat the premium albacore tuna, because I’m a food snob. Will continue to buy for all of my kitties.
Frequent buyer. Love these packs. They fit great in my lunch bag. I keep a pack in my bag for spare/ emergency. I have been known to forget my lunch. They fit great in the pocket, so it’s hard to tell they are there. Great for on-the go, with no can openers. I just bring a Mayo pack and mix it right in the package. Perfect size for a sandwich. I can bring a slice or two of bread in a ziploc or container. Or a half sleeve of whole grain crackers and it makes a complete lunch, without taking up much space. Also great space saver in the pantry. I’m a frequent buyer, although I wish they were slightly cheaper. The individual packs shouldn’t cost more than a can.
I have previously purchased StarKist light tuna because if was 100% skipjack tuna, the lowest in mercury. Today I received StarKist light tuna that no longer shows skipjack tuna, but light tuna as the ingredient. Checking the StarKist website, it shows that yellowfin tuna is now mixed in with skipjack tuna in the ingredients. Yellowfin tuna is ONE OF THE HIGHEST mercury content tunas. Shame on StarKist.
These are usually fine so I bought nine of them for the next several days. I noticed a weird smell when I was in the store but it didn’t smell like fish, it smelled like sour and stale, almost like some girl hadn’t showered in a long time. Then I got a packet out the next day for lunch and smelled it again a little…and then I opened the packet…it was dark yellow and dripping and the smell was absolutely horrible. I’d never smelled something so bad. The tuna itself looked rock hard and I noticed that the other packets were similar. I put everything back in the bag and threw it in the dumpster. Not sure how I’ll get my money back knowing that the receipt was in that bag but yall. Don’t buy this
Surprisingly and unexpectedly this Starkist Chunk Light Tuna in Water looks like a tuna soup. It is stated on the can that out of the 5 oz total weight, only 4 oz of tuna remain after draining the water. Wishful thinking! Out of 4 cans I drained and strained thru a strainer, I obtained ONLY 10 oz of tuna, meaning that in a 5 oz can only 2.5 oz are tuna. Not to mention the annoyance and waste of time to drain and strain the content while also squeezing the water excess during straining with a tablespoon.
What a great value price on this 8 can pack of Starkist tuna at Walmart, ordered online and shipped straight to my home. Shipping is always super fast from Walmart also! Starkist is our favorite tuna. Some brands have a lot of water to drain, but Starkist has the least of any that we have tried. We try to eat tuna, sardines or mackerel three times a week because oily fishes are supposed to be heart healthy. With today’s high grocery prices you can still eat healthier foods by shopping Walmart.
