Pros: Does what it says on the tin. Good ethernet cable.Cons: It was advertised as snagless (and the pictures show two snagless plugs), however the cable that was sent to me looks different to the one in the photos (the plugs don't have the rubber flap in front of the plastic lever to protect it).To be honest I don't care about this difference so it's not a problem for me, plus I understand orders might currently be harder to fulfil due to the coronavirus pandemic.

It is an excellent solution for the TV not connecting to the new modem / router wirelessly. The "patch" bit is no problem: It connects directly to the TV from the modem. It fits under a cranny in my door frame, wraps around the top of that door frame, and is going over and under other things without us having had to tack it up too much.

Ethernet cables have writing on the sleeve, giving tech specs about the cable. Sometimes it is very richly colored, sometimes it is not. I had a need to expose a white cable, & searched for one that had faintly-visible writing on the sleeve. (I couldn't do a 'extra slim' cable at 50', & certainly didn't want flat) The ad pictures showed this to be the best contender. I received it today, and YES it is. The spec writing on the sleeve is very faint, thank you! Yes the cable design is fine & speeds are great. Great price too. Thank you startech. I recommend this cable.

I bought this for work, because I wanted a wired connection, rather than a wireless connection for my ancient work laptop. This works wonders for me, and I normally don't give out 5 star reviews on here oh and it's a great value for the size.
It's a StarTech. What more do I need to say? If you've never used StarTech, you won't be disappointed. StarTech stands behind their products 150%. If StarTech's ad says their products will do certain things, believe it. I've been using StarTech products for years and never regretted ANY purchase made. These cables are well made, sturdy cable and connectors/connections. The jacket is very bright and easily identified by the color. It was nice to be able to get the varying lengths in the same color/manufacturer for my needs.
This is a well-made cable and a great value, as are most StarTech products. Bottom line, it "just works." The one criticism I have is that it does not come with the connector shown in the product page photo. Instead, it has, as shown in my photo, a pair of fins on either side. This is generally effective, but can be awkward to use in some cases - especially when space is tight.
Took way to long to receive them. Took 4 weeks, got a message saying they were lost a day prior to getting them. Other than that they are 7 foot cat5 cables. Nothing special other than they are purple, nice to have a color choice.
This is a awesome cable for a wired net experience. They came in different lengths. They are all great I am sure just quality. It fixed the issue where one wire was stretched to the limit and that other cable was old and grubby. But not after I replaced it with this one I like the color that helps the wire be stylish. I bought two of them together and that totally made the house happy one for me and family. It was instantly connected and working. The wired net experience completely blasts a wifi experience to bits. I had so much interference from annoying neighbor s it was horrible. This is dramatically better all the time. '":---]
