By getting this cable I was able to find old photos that were archived on a legacy hard drive which didn’t have usbC. It was so awesome to find photos and videos of my kids when they were so little!! Technically, this cable was perfect. It connected my old HDD to my new Apple iMac without any problems at all. No Cons at all with this essential cable if you have an older HDD that needs to connect to newer 2022 hardware.

This cable is great for transferring pictures from my Nikon camera when I don't have my card reader at hand. I was looking for a cable that could link my 10 year old Nikon that has the old Mini-USB connection to my MacBook Pro that has only USB-C ports for tethering in studio and it worked like a charm! Length is nice, got the job done, will see how it works in the long run.
