After going through 2 Dynamix 2m DP cables (Dynamix C-DP12-2M 2M DisplayPort v1.2), both of which were randomly disconnecting, I finally replaced them with this StarTech brand, which works great!This cable is on the approved products list at displayport.org, which is why I opted to buy these in the end.Finally, a rock solid connection to my LG 34UC97 Ultra wide. :)

20$ 10ft display-port cable, Supurb Shielding!

I've been using this a few weeks now, it has twice the shielding of other cables, and is rated for twice the data transfer rate of the new standard 1.4 display port compliance traffic. Aprox. 26 gigabit transfer cap is listed, and the 1.4 standard is something like 16 gigabit required. I am very pleased with this cable, its being used on a mobile robotic arm, and hasn't worn out from torsion yet either. gold plated ends. lock and release buttons. presently running at 120hz at 10 ft long. right next to speakers a microwave, and a wireless router/DSL-modem with no interference. If its still under 30$ you should grab one free up your monitor to where you want it! : )

4k 60Hz not attainable

I got two of these for my two monitors. One is 1440p144 and the other is 2160p60. They both worked flawlessly for the 1440p144 monitor. However, neither of them worked for the 4k monitor at 60Hz. 30Hz worked, but was unacceptable for the performance. This could possibly be due to the length of the cables, as I have a six foot cable that works perfectly for 4k at 60Hz.

A cable that supports 4K monitors

After a long search for a solution for the B326HK monitor that there were problems when the monitor came out of hibernation, I can today, March 5, 2015 writing down the solution.Acer does not deliver it properly DisplayPort cable with this monitor. Because the included DisplayPort cable can NOT support 4K. The solution is you need a DisplayPort cable type HBR2. Such a cable which certainly works on the B326HK monitor can been find at this link http://www.startech.com/Cables/Audio-Video/DisplayPort/displayport-cable-10ft-certified~DISPLPORT10L .I have informed Acer and they will contact the manufacturer for this cable for replacement.

Bought 2 cables to be safe and both didn't work

I've read on the I internet alot of 10ft display cables are faulty. I bought 2 cables just in case one was faulty. I bought these because they are vesa certified but both cables had constant flickering on both my monitors . The Amazon basic 10ft cables works alot better only flickering maybe once an hour. Not perfect but much better then these cables flickering every 5 seconds

Did not work for my setup

Spoke to a Dell rep as I need a 6 foot display port cable that would work with a 3070 card and the dell alienware aw3821dw 38" monitor. Rep told me 3rd party cables wouldn't work and he said this one would. When I used this cable, I could not get proper resolution.

Prior to purchasing, I contacted Star Tech for clarification on a 15ft version of this cable and whether it would work at 1080p at 144hz for a gaming monitor and got this response - "The DISPLPORT15L 15ft DisplayPort cable is certainly compliant with DisplayPort 1.2 HBR2 specifications with bandwidth up to 21.6Gbps. I do not suspect there will be any issues with running the DISPLPORT15L with a 1920x1080 monitor at 144Hz. The bandwidth required will be well below the 21.6Gbps of which the cable is capable. This is the perfect cable I've ever used. I had 3 different 2k Monitors and always used cables with cames with monitors. So many problems with games, always laggy. Now I'm using VIEWSONIC XG2703-GS 2K monitor (GSync) After this cable I've no lag problems. Everything is so smooth. I did read something about 20pins - 19pins problems. And for this cable, people wrote it's 19 pins (20. pin is not active) If you need DP cable, this is waht you need.
