I got the 35 foot version and upon arrival it has a strong, really stinky toxic industrial chemical smell. It's been sitting outside in the sun for several days - I'm hoping the smell will dissipate. I'm sure it works and it seems quality - except this particular supplier didn't do basic toxics sanitation in its factory. It's not just mold/die lubricant - there's something nasty *in* the elastomeric coating.

I was using a plain cable of the same length, but getting enough noise that my 3D printer couldn't work. This one, with the ferrites at each end, works great. EDIT: sorry, the review above actually applied to an entirely different cable (USB rather than Ethernet). This cable works just fine in every respect.

It's a 15' ethernet cable. I get 1Gbps with it from Comcast to my pc. I have over 1Gbps internet so I can confirm I get full bandwidth. And the orange is like caution cone orange. Excellent!

This cable works great. I bought it in July 2017 and have been using it for 1.5 years now, no problems. I do not use WiFi, so I needed this cable to use my laptop and get internet anywhere in my house, just plug one end into my modem and the other end into my laptop. At 100 feet I can reach anywhere I need to go, so if you don't use WiFi this is a great option.There can be significant health issues with excessive EMF exposure and while I realize we are exposed to WiFi and cell towers signals everywhere we go, I choose to reduce the exposure in my home by using hard-wired connections. I still get plenty of exposure from my neighbors, but any reduction at all is helpful.
The is cable comes in a large zip lock bag that most ethernet cables come in. The cable is very flexible and soft to the touch. The snagless ends are easy to use to release the cable from the jack.The cable work fast and reliably as expected. I have been using StarTech ethernet cables for 20 years and I will continue so for the foreseeable future. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.
I purchased this cable mainly because of the low price for a 35 foot ethernet cable. My husband had been looking for one to run to our living room for our security camera system. I was very surprised of the high quality of this cable. I was really expecting to receive a cheap cable. This worked perfectly from room to room . So now I can keep a check on my home via the internet when we are out. Is also comes with a lifetime warranty. What more can I expect. I would recommend this cable for your internet needs.
The patch cords themselves work awesome; the only minor issue is the tab that's molded around the connector makes it a wee bit difficult to remove it from the source. Since that's not normally a day-to-day issue it's not a big deal, but I do wish they stuck with a standard design. Not a game changer, these are still a great product, especially for the price. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again .
Works great for all kinds of data. Only reason to ding this cable one star is the cable is not bright white. It's somewhere between off-white and beige. I was hoping for copier-paper white, but this is "a smoker used to live here" white. Certainly it's brighter than the horrible beige cords from the 90's, but this is no where near the color of you iPhone cables.
Works great interconnecting digital snake stage boxes. Have two S16 Behringer digital snakes was trying to connect together. Other cat 6 and 7 would have intermittent clock sync errors. Since I got this cable, issue went away
