The product overall is sturdy, but the drawer is junk. Cheap plastic. If you don't use the adjustable stacking columns, the drawer will not slide. Disappointed and will return for a different product.

I recently bought this Computer Monitor Rise. It arrived at my house within two days. The item is light and practical. I like that you can change the riser height to make it eye level as needed. The drawer is an additional bonus. Reasonable price for the item.

I like this riser, particularly how I can adjust the height. I use a 32" monitor and it's nice to be able to use the adjustment feature along with the display arm on the monitor to dial into a good viewing height while freeing up some desk space, My only real issue with this riser is the construction - it's a bit (ok, more than a bit) plasticky, and even though I don't have it at full height there's a bit of wiggle. For heavier items I'm a little concerned about bend in the shelf too, though granted it's not designed to hold really heavy things. The drawer isn't extra spacious but it does have enough room to hold various items that would otherwise be left on the desk, like pens and things. At first, I was worried it would be too big because my desk is not very wide. It would almost make a perfect lap tray for a small child - But it worked perfectly! The legs can be taken apart and are made up of 4 interlocking pieces. Two of the pieces are just over 1 inch wide. The largest is about 2.5 inches wide. The smallest is about half an inch wide, and the smaller piece is also padded so that the legs don't scratch your desk top. I've very happy with this riser. I'd definitely suggest it first to anyone looking to purchase one. I'm thinking about getting a second one for my additional monitor.
I can't believe I trust what is essentially a piece of plastic, with slip-on legs, to hold up an expensive monitor. But after a couple weeks of use, I want to get one for the wife now too! From box to desk was just a couple minutes, and it never once wiggles or shows any sign of instability. The drawer doesn't bind on the sides like so many plastic "stands" we've used over the years. And as a finishing touch, the little "pencil" slot on the leading edge is large enough to fit a Wacom stylus and a Sharpie! :) The top surface texture is such that the monitor's cushion feet get a solid grip and nothing moves once in place. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.

There is a raised shelf sitting on top of the actual desk on which my monitor sits. It is all made of wood. I was very excited to be able to remove that shelf and use this unit. It does allow you to set it at various height levels which keeps your monitor and other miscellaneous materials above, there is a very useful drawer and this unit provides space underneath. This riser performs the promised function, and no more; it certainly isn't pretty or technologically advanced. As such, assembly of the unit is self-explanatory and quick, requiring you simply to choose the amount of rise needed, and slide the appropriately sized riser into place. Once assembled, the unit is quite sturdy, with rubberized "feet" preventing the unit from sliding. I found the drawer to be of little use, as it is not deep enough to hold much. (I would like the unit more without the drawer.) I am using this riser to give a boost to my television, since my soundbar was blocking the television's remote control sensor. As long as you don't mind the riser's looks, it will function for you. I recommend this item!

Setups like this always ring an alarm bell with me since you have to keep track of the unused pieces – and in my house things like that invariably get lost. There is a fairly large drawer with subdividers that will come in handy. You can probably push a keyboard underneath it but there is certainly no space for a printer or larger piece of equipment. I've had a good number of contraptions like this over time. None was even near perfect. The metal ones looked way better than the plastic ones.. With flat screen TVs, the TV doesn't take a whole lot of space, but we've got so many gadgets hooked up to the TV,that organizing them all is a mess of wires with limited space to actually put things like game systems, routers, etc. We use this stand on a shelf above the TV for our router. It allows us to see the router lights so that we know if we're getting a bad signal for some reason. The black makes it conveniently blend in with the surrounding media pieces so that it looks like it belongs. The drawer function would be handy if we didn't keep this so high.
