This is a great arm for mounting a monitor to a desk. The construction quality is excellent, everything fits together well and the mounting bracket is cleverly designed for either a wide range of desk thicknesses or grommet installation. The instructions cover all the install styles and can be confusing, so I recommend you read them through before beginning the installation. Cable management is great there are covers under both arms to make a clean install. The motion of the arm is smooth and only required a little adjustment for a 27 inch LCD. It makes my desk look so much cleaner now, and being able to move the monitor around is something I now realize I cannot do without!I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review

I have a built-in nook, like a cabinet, in my home office and wanted a better way for my Dell UltraSharp U2717D 27-inch monitor to be presented. With the factory stand in place, I couldn't slide my closed laptop back under the monitor or my external keyboard. The mounting surface appears to be plywood with a veneer, and I drilled a 3/8" hole in the back against the wall and off to one side. The grommet mount worked great in this position. I don't the monitor around on the arm much, but I can if I need to. It took quite a few turns to build up the tension sufficiently to hold the monitor in place, but it wasn't difficult at all. The VESA mount adapter fit great, and I re-used the screws that came with the monitor that secure the factory stand to it. It extends out ... It would probably work well for a standing desk. For standard installations in an commercial office setting, one person should be able to complete the install fairly quickly on their own. Mine was more complex, and it was somewhat difficult reaching the back of the desk surface where it was mounted, but I have long arms and managed it.

This mount was very easy to install and clips to the outer edge of a desk, requiring no modifications to an existing desk or table. It feels very stable while allowing for easy screen movement if you need to show a colleage content on your screen or adjust your viewing angle in a sit/stand desk environment. The 32" screen size is the only limiting factor if you have a need for a larger screen. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.
The bottom part of the arm is super hard to rotate, making it not convenient to use.
Can lift a 32" monitor. You'll have to turn a screw to give the arm enough strength to lift the heavy monitor tho.
