Often need power adapter unplugged and replugged to connect and won't charge a totally flat laptop. Have tried various USB-C adapters with the same result.I won't be deploying any more of these.

Bought a new laptop and the dock has all the missing ports needed. Plug and play, easy to use.Pro and con at the same time, it doesn't have an option to power it on.

The only thing stopping me from giving this a 5 star review is the out of box experience (2017 MBP 15in, core i7, MacOS Montery). Like most reviews I see on here the LAN port didn't work right away. I ended up chatting with support and they suggested I got through NVRAM and SMC reset. Instead, I simply removed all the network connections except wifi, then disconnected/reconnected the Mini Dock. Then the TB Ethernet Slot 1 interface appeared and connected succesfully. I hope this helps someone out there who's going through the same ethernet port issue. =]
I bought this as a docking station because I needed multiple monitors and an ethernet port - the network port doesn't work on the latest MacOS BigSur at all. I followed their trouble shooting guides and nothing helped. If all you need is 2 monitors this works (but there are cheaper alternatives) - if you need a network port and working USB ports, give this one a pass :-(

I bought this dock a week ago. Now Ethernet Usb and 1 Display works great but 2 Monitors don't work....
HDMI works. USB and Ethernet do not unless you reboot - in which case they will work for a time. Similar to other reviewers. This is on Catalina, Intel Mac which is supposedly supported.
very helpful replacement for the much more expensive and hard to find thunderbolt docking stations. this unit allows me to have the extra two monitors and a couple usb ports. take note, there is no power supplied to your laptop through it like the thunderbolt docking stations. running a webcam and usb speaker through the usb ports did not work but the usb mouse did fine. this requires me to use my laptop usb ports for the speaker and webcam. not as convenient as a full thunderbolt docking station but still useful for the price and availability.
