I have macbook pro which when connected to external 4K monitor the mouse lagged crazily. After research i found that i need display port. This port works amazingly for the cost. Love it. SO far no issues recommend it to everyone.
It does what it is supposed to do very well. It does not disappoint. Good firm connections no flicker or other issues.
I'm using this cable with the 2016 13" MacBook Pro. The image looks clear, but for large movement such as moving a window around it is very jumpy.One monitor is connected using apple's HDMI adaptor and its just fine. In displays, the HDMI says 60 Hertz, but the monitor with this cable says 59.88 Hertz (NTSC), not sure why different. Its mostly not a problem, but could be annoying for anything requiring large amounts of movement on the screen.
My laptop dont have any DP. So i used my USB Type C port of my Acer V Nitro to my Acer X24 144hz 1ms monitor. Definitely working! Thanks startech for this! Now my CSGO gaming is far more better than my 60hz monitor.

So far so good. I just got a MacBook Pro 2016 with touch bar and needed this cable to get 4k 60fps on my Dell P2751Q. I have been using it for a few hours and the cable has been working great. 4K content on Youtube shows great. I will update the review if I experience any problems.
