I had previously been hanging my bikes on the wall in a similar fashion using hooks - however this method has been surpassed by the steadyrack meaning my bikes are easier to put in place and remove, and they can be angled sideways.The design of the steadyracks is great - they are well engineered and will hold all of my bikes with ease. The only negative is the mounting screws and wall plugs - they seem overly large for the weight they are going to hold, but bigger is better I guess.I don't know why I didn't install these earlier - can recommend them highly. Last cheery on top - the price at Anaconda was but far the cheapest price I could find - very happy!

I ordered 2 racks, they arrived quickly. The install was incredibly fast and easy, everything I needed for installation was packaged with the rack. The unit looks great easy to use and saves room in my garage. The only issue I had which was my fault, I should have made sure about the size of my wife's tires before I ordered. Completely my issue, so I just ordered the correct size rear tire rest. I will definitely purchase other steady racks if I were in need of others.

Ordered 2 x Classic and 2 x Mountain Bike racks to replace basic bike hooks during re-organisation of my garage. They came promptly, were easy to install and very robust. I can now store 4 bikes on wall where I could only get 3 previously due to access required to get in and hook up the bikes. The swivel feature allows mounting closer to and still maintain access to adjacent shelves. My wife could not use the previous hooks. Storing and accessing her bike is now easy for her.

These racks were so easy to install. It took me about 30 minutes for the first one and then maybe 15 minutes after as I knew what to do. They are easy to load the bike on and off and the rotation side to side make it great to give a little more space in the garage. The one item that I struggled with on all three of the racks I installed was the covers on the top and bottom where the bolts are located. It was challenging to get the cover off as you need to squeeze and carefully remove them. I did break off one small clip on one side with the first one I removed.
A good buy. Quite strong enough and steady when the bicycle is hung on it. I had my doubts this may be swinging with the weight of the bicycle but this was definitely busted.Planning to order 2 more to make it 4 for all our bikes.I do not suggest trying to put this on a plasterboard wall as I learnt it the hard way. The whole thing came out with all the spaghetti wall plugs when I first tried it on the plasterboard wall. Lucky I didn’t have my cars parked in the garage. On the brick wall, no issues at all.
These are kick ass racks. I put them in the garage to organize the bikes. Very sturdy. Easy to use. My kids have no trouble getting the bikes on and off.My only negative comment is the cost. These are not cheap. The packaging alone is expensive and adds to the cost. If the company could drill down on the price, I bet they’d sell a lot more. Or, if they sold these as commercial grade and had a residential grade maybe that would help.But the general design and construction is good. A little over-engineered. But good.
This is great you can see and feel the quality, the swing motion is dam good and bike fits really well.If you are getting someone else to install them make sure you have reviewed and measured out from the instructions before they ommence work so they are not to high up the wall. Instructions are simple and easy to follow.Highly recomend this product.
Excellent product. Simple design, quality sturdy build - it just works. No need to lift bike up high to store, just lift front wheel and roll in on back wheel.I have 3 and they fold in against each other nicely - while still being easy to get to each bike.Nice to now have dedicated positions for each bike
I had my bikes hanging along the walls of my garage and decided to organise my bikes better. The SteadyRack was easy to install. I alternated the height of the racks so that handlebars did not clash, and all the risk fit very nicely along one wall. Very neat. very easy to get my bikes out. Very happy
We had a couple of 'gravity' racks that sat up against the wall - they were impossible for the kids to reach the top bikes, so there were always a couple in the way in the garage. The SteadyRack makes it possible for the littles to now get their bikes down and then independantly re-rack them at the end of use. They are actually excited to be able to put them away, because the process is fun, and we all appreciate how they now have a dedicated home on the wall.Although the are designed to bolt directly to the wall studs, the placement would not accommodate for the spacing we needed.
