Probably some of the best RGB in a mouse that I've used, for those of you that like that sort of thing.There are two gripes I have with the mouse. Sometimes it will not register as being connected after waking my computer from sleep. This also happened with my wired Aerox 3, but does not happen with a Logitech mouse, so I assume it's something in the mouse firmware itself. The other problem I have with this is that it's almost twice as much as the wired version. If your use case dictates that you can switch to Bluetooth for another device and swap between them, then it probably will be awesome. I didn't have that need. The wireless dongle that is included is very responsive and introduced no latency, and the mouse was very quick to wake up from battery saving sleep, but I feel like the battery did not last nearly as long as it should even with RGB lighting set to a more aggressive battery profile (disables after a short time of non-use, and disables while mouse is moving.) Unfortunately I would say that meant I ended up using this mouse as a wired device about a third of the time I owned it, and ultimately ended up returning it for another wired version. If you really need wired, or use Bluetooth, go for it, it's a great mouse. If you don't have to have the wireless capability, then I'd suggest the wired variant instead.

Five and four are a great way to drain battery life, especially if you have it rotating many different colours, maybe not so much if you only use one. Three is a middleish ground, and two is the perfect spot for me. It provides plenty of light—I do use it as a flashlight because I keep my room dark—while having to not worrying about having to charge it again in a middle of a game. So it depends on what you want to prioritize, either way, no matter what you choose, it won’t disappoint you.The interface for the Steelseries app is relatively easy to navigate, and navigating the settings for the mouse is not hard.Overall, I have no complaints about the mouse, of course, for getting it on sale when it went down to 60. I suggest waiting for when it goes on sale again, because I can’t imagine spending full price for it, no matter how good it is. But I will most definitely be buying more Steelseries in the future.

I've always thought SteelSeries offered the best software experience for the user... and this mouse is no exception. I've had 2 of these mice and about 9-12 months into use, they have connectivity issues. Mouse will disconnect for 1-2 seconds and reconnect when using in wireless mode, which is the whole point of getting a wireless mouse. Very disappointed as I like the design and feel of the mouse a lot, but the reliability is very bad. Don't trust reviews here that are posted only a few weeks or months after purchase, the reviews saying that around a year it starts to disconnect are true.
Mouse stop working after 4-5 monthsBuild quality 3/5Connectivity 3/5Battery 4/5Warranty 2/5 - Where to start, even if you tell them it's dead and doesn't respond they will still require you to make every effort to ensure this is a true statement even go as far as sending them a video of you trying. Then they make you send 5-10 photos, and that is after the run around with 3-4 agents lol. After a week of back and forth they finally replaced but give you a credit that has to be use with the original product if it's in stock, and it took days to get the code they sent us to work, then took almost a week to get the mouse to us. SO after almost 3 weeks of hassle we got it replaced. If you have sweaty hands i highly do not recommend this product.

Super light, good polling rate, decent software. The reason Ive grown to hate this mouse is the 2.4ghz connection used. Every time I power-cycle my PC, I have to plug the mouse in and manually reconnect the mouse to the dongle in the software. It has never once auto connected. The actual connection process is super buggy too. Sometimes it works first try. Sometimes it will take 2-3 attempts before the mouse will stay connected. My Corsair wireless mouse never had this issue. It would always automatically connect, and worked flawlessly. I bought this mouse for Christmas and it lasted me for a month until the mouse sensor started to bug while (only) playing games, it started to skip around randomly and go crazy when I moved it. I thought this was a problem with my PC but I switched back to my old mouse to see if there was a problem with my SteelSeries mouse and to my surprise it was. I do not recommend this mouse since its quality is really really poor for how much this thing cost. If your buying this mouse without a discount (e.g. during black Friday) you should buy the Logitech G Pro X Superlight instead.
THE GOOD: - I noticed immediately the SENSOR on this mouse is a beast. I have a logitech G PRO which has Hero 25k which is probably currently one of the best sensors on the market. This sensor competes with it very closely. I have a logitech G PRO which has Hero 25k which is probably currently one of the best sensors on the market. This sensor competes with it very closely. It'll fit small-to-medium sized hands for either palm/claw/finger-tip grip easily. Furthermore, it's super lightweight and you'll notice the difference immediately if you switch from a heavier mouse. THE BAD * The SWITCHES unfortunately are a bit too stiff. However, I am writing this review same day as I opened the mouse. They may break in. But from the get-go... they require a good bit of force to press. Besides that though, I haven't noticed any delay due to travel distance or anything like that. Will update review if switches improve or not. * DPI settings are in intervals of 100 only. I really like to set my DPI to 450... but I had to choose either 400 or 500. I chose 400 and upped in my in-game sensitivity. Not terrible sacrifice but would've like finer control of the sensor DPI. edit: switches never broke in; not a good mouse for spam-clicking (moba games), it'll strain your fingers & wrist too much. if however, you're just playing FPS games and stuff... very solid mouse & would recommend.
I'm on my second one. The first one had disconnect problems where it would just disconnect randomly and go into pairing mode. It would randomly blink white showing it is trying to connect. This happened a handful of times while in use. The problem is that i've only used the mouse for 5 days. The mouse was charged at all times. The only solution is to plug the mouse into the computer to reestablish connection.My second one has been better so far. No random disconnects except for a bug when I am watching movies for a long time without touching the mouse. If I watch movies and I haven't moved the mouse in let's say 4 hours, the mouse will go to sleep. I just can't left click, right click, scroll wheel, etc until i plug the mouse back into the computer.As far as build quality, it is top notch. It is very very solid with no creaking. All the clicks are solid including the scroll wheel. It is a very solid mouse in terms of build quality.This is the ghost edition which in my opinion is the way to go. It has the updated larger feet missing on the 2021 black aerox 3. As far as I can tell, it is the same mouse as the 2022 aerox 3, just with a translucent shell.
