Stellar - Rocktanium Frying Pan - 20cm

i purchased 2 of these frying pans a 24cm and a 28cm they appear to be well made and fit for purpose given 4 stars as not used yet so cannot report how they will stand up to normal domestic use. The packaging from Stellar offers a lifetime guarantee if registered on there web site but i have been unable to open the relevant section in order to complete the registration they offer a huge amount of information on what is covered but its not much good if you cant register the product,there is a online former you can complete for help so i will try this and if successful i will amend my review

The smooth base of this pan makes it excellent for use on an induction hob. I had been advised by an induction hob engineer that my previous frying pan, which although cited as ‘suitable for induction hob’ was not ideal and he was right! I should have gone for the Stellar brand in the first place, lesson learned! This pan was offered at very competitive price by Oldrids.

I love these frying pans, I’ve had one before & just threw it out because I’ve got a new kitchen & wanted shined new pans. I didn’t realise they had a great guarantee. I ordered the same one & a smaller one. Fabulous

Bought a smaller version of this pan last year for my daughter and it is still going strong and looking good. This larger version has been requested for this years Christmas present. She is very impressed with the quality and durability.

Arrived quickly and undamaged on

Arrived quickly and undamaged on day stated. Unused as yet. Expected to match the quality of Stellar saucepans which I have had for years. The (large) package was filled with eco friendly, dissolvable 'polystyrene'. I would suggest that this is composted, or disposed of in your dustbin. I started to dissolve it in the kitchen sink & the smell was rather sickening.

Be careful as the base can buckle

Harts have been superb. I bought this pan a couple of years ago and true to word it doesn't stick, but where I have a problem is the base not staying flat. It has distorted and is no longer level so only makes contact at the centre of the base on yout hob. This is the second time this has happened and harts had been excellent in giving me a full credit towards another pan with no quibbles,. Maybe i just had bad luck, but this time round I have opted for that famous french brand at a much higher price.They have much thicker bases than most of the other brands. I have had one of their paella pans which i bought at the same time as the stella pan. In fact I have bought a full set of saucepans too with an excellent 25% discount. Great 20cm stellar Rocktaium fry pan

I bought this having previously bought the wok in this design. . I cannot lift heavy pans and this was ideal. Food just glided around and did not stick.Little or no oil needed. Bought initially as an omelette/ pancke pan but ideal for small amounts of mushrooms etc.Harts of Stur delivered quickly having used their easy to navigate website. Also the best price at the time.

Perfect little pan

Totally non stick, very easy to hand wash though is dishwasher safe. Seems well made and solid. I have arthritis in wrists and fingers and neuritis and this pan is nice and light to handle. Very pleased.

Quality, Looks, Price, and a brand that is second to none. Whats not to like?

I already had two bigger frying pans in this range, but sometimes it's useful to have a small one, if only for doing the odd fried egg or couple of sausages. This one like its bigger relations is superb and a very handy addition to any kitchen. Looks good, works as it should, great price, and always the same great quality you get with Stellar products.

Well it looks goodAnd performs well. It says it has a lifetime guarantee so we will see. I tend to go through non stick pans despite promises made from manufacturers abd I stick carefully to the guidelines for use but so far so good
