It looks amazing, but unfortunately it does not keep drinks hot for long. For a premium product like this, I would expect the tea to stay hot for a good 12 hours. The EM77 doesn't even keep tea hot for 6 hours. Also, unlike the (much cheaper) plastic version which is made in Denmark, this steel version is made in China.

Big sister - Little brother

The Stelton vacuum jugs are among the design icons of the 20th century. The steel sheath proves itself particularly well, because unlike the variants in plastic, its colour does not change when exposed to sunlight (it does not "shoot"). So you can be sure that you will enjoy it for a long time. As "little brother" the little pot is a good addition to the "big sister" with 1.0 l, be it for an additional smaller quantity of another hot drink, be it because you just need a smaller quantity of it.

Explosion of glass

Do not buy this jug, and if you already have one, BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN DISASSEMBLING.I only got to use my jug once before the interior container shattered all over my kitchen. I set the interior pieces on the counter to get ready to clean, and the glass piece exploded. It took nearly an hour to clean the shards away, and there's still glass dust on the floor that we haven't been able to easily clean away..

Great look & quality

This is a great look and very high quality! I did end up returning only because I thought I'd prefer a transparent, glass one instead once I decided having an infuser inside would be more what I'd like as the purpose for me getting this. Also, it is a little difficult to open the top by pressing in the side black buttons. But I'd highly recommend if you're fine not having a clear one.

Horrible in multiple ways. Don't buy.

It practically takes 3 hands to disassemble the carafe to clean it because the stiff side buttons are so hard to press and far apart. If you are older or have small or weak hands, forget it. That alone is enough to call it a defective product. Overall it is far too complicated and for no apparent reason. Also, with almost no use, mine leaked from the bottom of the internal removable container and the rubber below it smells terribly.

Keeps Beverages Hot for Hours, and Looks Great!

I requested this carafe for a birthday present, which was in August, and have been using it several times a week. I am so impressed with its performance. It pours, sans drips, so your beverages land in your cup and not dribbled all over. It keeps beverages warm for hours with the rocker cap on (the lid that allows the beverages to be dispensed). One night, wanting to get the maximum steeps out of some expensive tea leaves, I brewed one last pot for the night, put it into the jug, put the picnic lid on (the lid that seals the jug), and retired for the evening. After sitting for twelve hours, I poured some out, thinking that I would have to reheat it. The carafe does have stiff side buttons that need to be depressed in order to disassemble the pot. However, the buttons need to be "stiff" so that a tight fit is ensured to keep the inside glass bottle secure and stable, and ensure a tight seal between the inside glass bottle and the top outer spout to keep the beverages hot, which is its main purpose.I have average-sized hands, and after disassembling the carafe a couple of times, one becomes acclimated to the process. This procedure, I imagine, can be difficult for one who suffers from arthritis, or some other joint malady.I definitely recommend this product.

Long on the wish list

I've wanted this thermos for a long time. With the help of my Connox-Points I have finally indulged myself in them. The pot looks beautiful and has no faults. It was perfectly packaged and works without dripping. There is also no problem when washing the dishes, because you can take out the "core" of the jug. So far we have only used one of the two lids and I am very happy with it. No turning or pressing, simply pouring and shutting down then the can is closed again. I would describe the colour as grey/green. This colour is also known as nordic-green or pale-green from other manufacturers. I think she looks great.

The perfect coffee pot

I've ordered the pot a second time now because I think it's so good. The tilt lock keeps you warm for a long time and is still so easy to use. Not a drop. Alternatively, a rotary axis is available for transport. Perfect design for me!I had bought my first pot in white. The white has turned quite yellow by now, which I don't like so much. But the pot is also probably 10 years old. So I don't know if Stelton has a better handle on the paint today. Therefore the new jug was now available in black. That's where everything should fit.

Timelessly beautiful. Top in form and function.

The stainless steel vacuum jug is one of the design classics of all. I've known this pot forever and no one else comes into my house. The processing is absolutely top. The pot makes a very noble impression. It stands in my kitchen next to the current Cafe Gourmet machine from Philips. A dream duo. The pot keeps the coffee warm for hours. The tilting technology of the lid is simply super. The lid never falls out when pouring. Unless you hold the jug vertically upside down. Besides, this pot doesn't drip. I highly recommend them.

The vacuum jug EM77 has a beautiful design. However, one must first learn to tilt the jug carefully in order not to spill anything. This is due to the self-opening spout. Once you have the right momentum, the coffee or tea ends up in the cup without any extra twisting or pressing.I'm afraid I have to give you a star trigger: The color is like the name says, lavender. The original picture by Stelton, however, suggests more of an old pink.
