I’ve had the BGA200 for over a season now and couldn’t be happier. We are an electric company for all small engine equipment and we couldn’t have been hooked up with a better more reliable brand. The BR800 sits on standby for larger commercial properties and fall while the BGA200 blowers away all my problems on a daily. With having 18+ properties a day, the BGA200 surprisingly doesn’t drink the battery like one would think. We usually use 1 full battery a day on just the blower which helps us out tremendously for the rest of the equipment. Weather is leaves or grass, this blower has never let us down. Great blower, quality build, excellent performance and priced just right. It has exceeded my expectations and I will be buying another one to add to the fleet this year.

I purchased a BGA 100 four years ago and felt lost when it was stolen. The BGA200 I replaced it with is even better. I am a a full time groundskeeper at a four acre private estate, I really love the quiet, exhaust free and very powerful blower. The variable speed trigger responds perfectly.I took a few weeks to get used to how best to use it. I carry the battery pack in my left hand and the blower in my right, the sensitive variable speed trigger allows whisper light airflow and any force I want up to full blast to happen instantly. Talk about quality! I have three other battery tools and keep four ap 300 batteries on two chargers so I never run out if power. It’s an expensive setup, but the convenience and quality more than justify the cost and effort to to use ... MoreI purchased a BGA 100 four years ago and felt lost when it was stolen. My biggest complaint is battery extraction. I’m 61 and have to really grip and pull on the battery to separate it from the tool (blower, hedge trimmer, line trimmer and extended hedge shear are all difficult). I would think Stihl will improve this in newer tools.Pros- power, quality, quiet, low to minimal maintenanceCons- battery extraction, cost, extended hedge trimmer weight balance

I was able to get lucky and find one of the last BGA 200's in the city, between 2020-2021. I am happy I got the 200 rather than the 100. It does everything I need and the trigger lock/cruise control is the best part of it. Especially in the early Spring and Fall leaf season. The extra booster with the trigger fully pressed is also a great feature to clear those stubborn areas in your yard. I need to get the belt clip still, but it is so light that rarely does carrying it become an issue.

I bought this three weeks ago and it was very easy to charge and use. The adjustable trigger speed is a nice addition. However I bought the 300s battery and it will only last 25 minutes at full throttle. If you have a larger yard or a commercial business I would consider getting the larger battery pack. This blower is not currently meeting the needs I have and I will have to return it. Hope this helps you when considering Electric vs Gas.
I own 2 of these as my business is all electric. I'm a stihl loyalist and own almost all of the electric tools. The best part about this is the variable speeds. At low power I can control what I'm blowing around. Like sand into cracks or mulch out of rock. Also with the ar3000l and the clip i find it to be lightweight and has no fatigue (with the clip wtlithout it I fatigue)The only downside is power.I would definitely recommend you guys find a way to make a br 800 equivalent and a bigger battery that can clip on like the ar3000l clips onto the rma 765 v.Something like a ar 4000 or 5000 plus a backpack clip on blower would be perfect. This tool in the mean time does the job.
Thing will get the job done. It has three levels and I don't have to use the third one in my business unless Im just trying to be super effecient. Otherwise level one and two for dirty curbs is fine. Main reason I got it is because Im tired of the engine noise. I have sensitive ears and this is a blessing. Thank you engineers.
I returned mine immediately. For 1,000 dollars for a blower, battery pack, and charger, it is an absolute joke. It doesn't even stand up to a gas blower that's one third of the price, not by a long shot.I'm a commercial user, and trust me, I would love a lower decibel machine and something that doesn't have to deal with gas, but the technology is just not there yet. I mean, you're lucky if you get 15 minutes on full blast for one full battery. And the whole set up is awkward and heavy, you'll get a muscle tear or tendonitis by the end of the season.Plus at the end of the day, you are charging the battery with fossil fuels, except using way more fossil fuels to do so. Add that to battery life and price and it just doesn't make any sense. The BR800 Magnum Side ... MoreI returned mine immediately. Add that to battery life and price and it just doesn't make any sense. The BR800 Magnum Side Pull on the other hand.... I mean that thing is loud, yes. it uses gas. But it gets the job done incredibly quickly. Yea you can spend 4x the amount of time patting yourself on the back that you're not using fossil fuels (which you really are when you charge them), but it's like a 2 or 3 man crew working at the same time with the Mangum. I would argue, it's even more fuel efficient in the end.If you're a business, I don't see how you're able to survive buying 6 batteries and chargers per machine (which cost more than the machine itself) to get through a leaf clean up. The time and space required to keep this things running is just silly. AND THE PRICE. It's also vacuum level loud, which granted, is much lower, but it's not super quiet.Hopefully one day in the not so distant future, there will be battery powered landscaping equipment that makes sense to use for a homeowner or a company. You can spend 1 third of the amount and get the job done much quicker with Stihl's cheapest blower.
Great power from a handheld blower. Three speeds are all on variable speed from trigger, this tool works around delicate gardens, rocked landscape areas with shrubs, rocks, etc as barriers, 21 mature trees over 60’. I purchased this about 3 weeks ago. The battery is very heavy and cumbersome. I could not wear the battery on my belt. If you are a smaller framed person handling this leaf blower I suggest you place the battery in a backpack. It makes it much easier to handle for a smaller frame person. The battery goes dead quickly. However it does recharge quickly. Was it worth the money? I'm not so sure.
I love this pruner!!! I have bought many over the years (you get what you pay for) and this is my best investment. It's very comfortable in my hand which means a lot when you are working outside all day. When I told my husband how much it cost, he said "that's okay because it's a Stihl and it will get the job done and it will last forever." He's right, and he should know, he has a Stihl chainsaw.
