I love this new pot still. I used this in conjunction with the Copper Dome Top and it was a perfect fit for my T500 boiler. I had been looking for this solution and it's ideal. This Pot Condenser preserves better flavor from my corn mash, which the Reflux head strips away in favor of higher alcohol content. My first run started about 66% and ran until 15% when I stopped it. The hearts taste great which is not something I can say about the reflux spirits, they are very neutral. This unit uses a lot more water, but I think you could use a large bucket of water with ice in it and recirculate it.

So I've used this five times now and have been very happy with the product. It condenses well and appears to be a quality build. Plus it's copper.

While I do think this is a well made product that could work nicely for very small production, it does have a few flaws. Being copper, it is necessary to clean the inside which is very difficult due to the design. The water outlet should be barbed like the inlet and the outlet tubing needs to be heavier, thicker due to water being either quite hot or high pressure. The size of the condenser is only big enough to handle roughly 500 watts unless you are happy with running water on full blast all day. I would not recommend this for stripping runs as the pipe is narrow at the end and will make pressure build inside still which can cause puking.
