This is a great chair. I currently use it with my newborn and it is perfect to use in the kitchen while I prepare for dinner or behind dinner table when our family gathers together.

We always planned on buying the tripp trapp but ended up buying sooner to have a place to put baby while doing things in the kitchen without having to relocate his bouncer from our main living space upstairs. I am surprised how much we love this. It is so great being able to have baby at the dinner table with us and keeps him happy long enough for us to enjoy our meal. Fabric wipes clean very easily. Only subtracted one star because it is still pretty expensive for what you're getting in terms of the newborn attachment.
