I don’t usually have an issue with acne, but I’m going to guess from new found stress I’ve been getting from work caused me to have a little breakout around the chin area. I found this at Walgreens on clearance so I tried it out. I used it after my usual nighttime routine, just took a pad (very large in size!) and wiped my face down. It did burn slightly after use and as it dried down, made my skin feel extremely tight. My acne issue wasn’t fresh, the breakout had happened two days before using this. I woke up the next day, and they were almost gone! Couldn’t even see any bumps! I was highly impressed with these wipes! I gave it 4 stars because I do not like the burning sensation, but if I have another break out, I will definitely still use these!

This can also be used after shaving, just one quick light swipe and it’ll help prevent ingrown hair. Formaldehyde is naturally produced by humans, about 1.5 ounces a day, as a normal part of cell metabolism and is naturally occurring in many fruits, vegetables, and meat. Back in the day when I was a teen and tried using these as a cleanser, they didn't do a thing for my acne and I hated then with every fiber of my hormonal teenage being. Now, as an adult with persistent, medication resistant bacterial, fungal and cystic acne using these 2x a day as part of a well rounded cleanse/tone/serum and actives/moisturize routine is one of the only things I can always count on in keeping my skin comfortable and healthy. I use a Stridex pad after my face wash and let my skin rest until it's dried before any next steps. It's not a pretty product and it's not winning any awards for packaging, scent, environmental friendliness etc but for my awful skin it's a tried and true lifesaver. If you have acne here and there or acne that's more mild, occasionally throwing one of these wipes into your routine could do your skin some good. I think most of the bad experience with Stridex aside from regular, your mileage may vary type stuff is just the product order and how often it's being used- if it's a last step it will dry your skin out, and it's not a replacement for a good cleanser. I would never use it without moisturizer or put other products on immediately after using it since the low pH can mess with other skincare ingredient's performance if they're mixed when wet. Moderation is also key even if you really, really need this product (like me). It's easy with acne to jump into 1 Stridex pad both morning and night but going too tough on acne can make it worse and not everyone's skin will love or even need that much salicylic acid. I think as far as efficacy, consistency in how it works if it works for you, and bang for your buck it's a really solid product. So far it's still my holy grail BHA after 2 years of obsessively trying/buying skincare.

This is the best acne medication wipes in the universe for combo skin types! They've got a variety of strengths options but I love the maximum strength product. It's great for combo or oily skin to stop AND prevent further breakouts. It contains a full 2% of salicylic acid so if you need to use daily (even combo skin ppl) should use a lightweight moisturizing agent or after a few days (5days for me) it's strong enough to cause dry patches or peeling. You can also use it every other day in tandem with your regular skin care routine to prevent over drying. Overall I absolutely love this product and what it does so I'll definitely re-purchase this! 😍
This salicylic acid pads are really good for sensitive skin, I’ve tried the red one before, but this are much better. They are pretty gentle to the skin, 1% in my opinion is better for sensitive skin than 2%. The scent is not too strong, it smells like menthol, but it’s not irritating for my sensitive skin at all. I use it 3 times a week, you can try using it more frequently, if your skin is not very sensitive. The benefits of salicylic acid are obvious: acne (closed comedones) and ingrown hair. Basically I use it not only on my face, but for my body as well, especially on my legs from ingrown hair.
I bought these pads few months ago and wasn't consistent in using them but boy these pads are amazing! my skin is combo and prone to acne especially in summer. These pads really helped me with having clear skin with mild exfoliation. I use them at night and wake up next day with better skin. However I don't use them daily or on hot days cause the acid would irritate my skin or give me flaky appearance , just make sure you use nice sunscreen during the day and moisturizer afterwards. I'll definitely buy it again cause it also helped with my discoloration and blemishes
The 1st time I used this, I experienced a little bit of tingling on my face for about 10 minutes, but after that, it felt fine.Effectiveness: with regular use, works pretty well to help keep pores unclogged.Ease of Application: you can even cut the pads in half and have enough product for an application. So the size is perfect.Convenience: soft individual pads are very convenient.Side Effects: can be a little drying in winter and this is a concern for me.Immediacy: nothing works on acne immediately because the condition is ongoing and blemishes start long before their appearance.Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
The quality and ingredients are top notch. Packaging and size are good. There is a result. useful for Health and Immunity Use positive Dosage and Supplement and Frequency normal. result and improvement is. The taste is pleasant.
