It can do a thick and smooth chorus that has plenty of sparkle as well as nice ramp and envelope features and a very useable vibrato. Better than the chorus in the Möbius for some reason…

Compared to the neo instruments ventilator II I had at the same time, I would go for the Strymon every time. Quiet with superb sound and stereo that isn't hissy.I sold the ventilator II

Beautiful chorus if that is what you are looking for. The "multi" setting in normal mode is particularly lush. The envelope setting lets the effect modulate to your picking dynamics in a subtle way. Didn't find the ramp to be useful. Vibrato was pretty nice but I prefer my Vibrolux, even though it's a one trick pony. The Favorite preset is a nice touch.
This Strymon pedal is very expensive but has all the chorus effects anyone would need - and a few more - in a very accessible unit. I particularly like the degree of fine adjustment available; Chorus, I think is mostly a subtle effect and fine control is necessary in this situation.The Ramp function allows for pseudo Lesley speaker effects which I use to get keyboard effects from th guitar. I highly recommend this pedal.
Strymon never disappoints
Buying the pedal from pmt was a breeze and it arrived the following day.Amazing lush sounding chorus and works great on guitar and bass.
This is hands down the pedal pedal chorus I ever came across. It is pricey indeed but it delivers the most beautiful chorus tones that I never get tired of as with other pedals from other makes. I confess Im not a big modulation effects fan but this is the kind of pedal that sounds good in any setting, no need to tweak to get a good sound out of it. The videos on the Strymon website make justice to what you get with it. A real pro choice in my opinion.
