I bought the Studymate A4 70gsm 5mm Graph Book 96 Pages two times from 2020 - 2021. I first bought the book in 2020 as I believed that the book would be of good quality, which it was, until 2021. I had purchased the book for a second time in 2021 but had noticed that the colour would fade onto other stationary and would leave extremely light stains on the front cover of the book. The pages of the book would also tear extremely easily and made the experience less than enjoyable. It left me wondering about the quality and made me decide against purchasing it for the years to follow.

My daughter purchased this book for school. After 2 terms the spiral had somehow inched itself up, meaning there was a 2cm difference between the top of the spiral and the top of the book. This separation resulted in every page being damaged. It got worse as the year went on, ending a a 3.5cm difference. Don't think I will be purchasing the product again.

I bought this on the assumption that the 10mm grid would be square. Despite the product image - its not! The book arrived with rectangular squares approximately 10mm x 3mm which is useless. I live 50km from the nearest Officeworks and I ordered it on-line to save me the trip, now I have to drive all that way just to return them. Not impressed!
Pros:*Lots of pages. It's great for high schoolers so they don't have to go through too many 96 or 128-page ones.*Page quality as indicated is around 70gsm, which sorta makes it more convenient to write as it won't feel like you are writing on a rock.*Price is alright (best when discounted during backtoschool sales).Cons:*Yeah the grid sizes are a tad bit over 5mm, like 5.1mm or something, but this shouldn't interfere with your work, unless it requires measurements to be exact (you'd have a ruler though).*Book's thickness would mean for the pages to be fabricated like a notepad you can tear pages out of -- leads to easier wearing hence falling apart of pages sometimes.
I have been using this book for the past year and it has done well , I use a 0.5 ballpoint pen because I like small handwriting but most lined pages are like 8mm which sucks because my letters get bigger to fit the page and I write less, and it doesn't look as neat. The grid is very helpful for math and also writing and the paper is good quality. I like spiral notebooks because they're easy and will probably use this one if i can't find reasonably priced 5mm grid 30 hole refills for my binder.
Bought for technical drawing which requires a touch of accuracy, grids are either not 5mm or I need to start writing 3 more reviews for the rulers I've bought here to measure it
Purchased 16/7/20 online. Photos don’t show grid clearly. Grid is not 10mm x 10mm Square. Grid is 10mm X 5mm rectangle. Nowhere on the website or even the book itself is this mentioned. Unable to be used for regular grid uses which is why I would not recommend. It is fine if you use a rectangle style grid. Quality of book is fine.
STUDYMATE 9x7 GRID BOOKI bought a copy of this Studymate 6x7 Grid Book, and it works fine. The bottom right hand corner is printed with a sample of the 10mm grid inside, so you do not have to open the book to see what is inside. The back cover contains some mathematical tables, printed in white on purple, which is quite readable. This is unlike the tables in the yellow 9x7 exercise books which are printed in low contrast white on yellow which is next to unreadable.The multi-coloured triangle on the top left hand corner on the latest version of this product is also cute. The name "Studymate" seems to be missing from the front cover.MG 2020-07-03/15:07A suggestion: print a ruler on the back in black on white. :-) :-)
if you're a high school student and looking for a math book, this is for you! it is so much better than the thick 192 pages book recommended by school booklists and makes your handwriting look so pretty. the only issue is that it does fall apart after a while, it happened to me after 3 terms but other than that, it's a pretty great book
