The kids take one book from the top and they all come crashing down. The shelves need to be deeper. Don’t buy this unless you’re simply displaying a couple of books on each tier.

We’ve been really happy with this bookshelf - it’s great for displaying the kids books so they can actually see them. We’ve had one for a year and are about to get a second one.
I bought this last year for my classroom. It was reasonably easy to put together and fits well in the space I had available.Unfortunately the shelves are very shallow and the lip at the front of the shelf only allows for a few books to be displayed. When the students replace or remove books, the rest topple off.
It doesn't hold the books properly. When you touch the book on the top shelf it knocks all the others off.
The books just fall off as there is not enough depth to each shelf.
This allows my toddler to gather and put away books independently. simple yet functional.
