Upon turning the tub, in order to read the back, we are presented with the directions for use, which bid us to "apply a thin layer as required". Underneath this are the ingredients used in the cream, followed by an insight into possible side effects just below that. The lid, which is grey along with the rest of the tub, possesses a small tab. This tab can be pulled up to easily remove the lid, with no hassle. Despite this being a positive asset, as it means it is easy for us to open with one hand whilst holding wriggling legs with the other, it also means that it's easy for your little ones to open. However, this hasn't been a huge issue for me as I simply make sure to store it somewhere that those little fingers can't reach. In general, the tub isn't the most visually attractive. It appears smart and serious, which allows customers the assurance that this is a helpful, effective cream. However, since Sudocrem is so widely used on babies and children, I would personally like to see something slightly more cheerful. The cream itself is white and smooth. It's of a thick consistency so that it doesn't run or drip, but not so thick that it is still easy to apply to the skin. Dipping in your finger, it feels smooth and light, and it is evident that only a small amount is required. A fingertips worth of cream will cover babies entire bottom, which means the product is great value for money, for one tub will last a long time. It's a highly soothing cream, that works fast for instant relief. Upon opening the tub, you're welcomed by a waft of lavender. However, it isn't an overpowering smell, but rather soft and gentle. I'm not one for floral smells, usually avoiding them altogether, but this is a mild, kind and inviting fragrance. Extra attention is needed when rubbing the cream in, as it doesn't absorb very quickly and so you're otherwise left with white patched skin. However, the slow rate of absorbency has never been an issue for me, as the cream is intended to create a protective seal and that is exactly what is occurring. I can not stand creams that make my skin feel sticky, or attract those irritating pieces of fluff, but I have never had this issue with Sudocrem. This product has so many uses, it's difficult to list them all. From rashes and dry skin, to sunburn and chilblains, this cream is the solution for a recovery that is as quick and pain free as possible. I have never had any issues with Sudocrem, it's a justifiably trusted brand that haven't had reason to change their formula for around 85 years. I love this product and will continue to purchase it when necessary, I've rated this product 5 stars as it is without fault. I highly recommend that others take this cream into consideration. A small price will gain you a tub that won't have to be replaced for a long time, as a small amount goes a long way. Sudocrem is amazing value for money.

Sudo nappy cream I have been using this cream for a while for my 2 month old baby. This cream works amazing with nappy rash and soreness.i would like to give 100 stars for this .It comes in convenient travel size as well as larger tub to use at home. I usually apply a thin layer to my little one with every nappy change within 24 hours rashes gone and it is really life saver with skin issues and this cream is so soft feels amazing on skin without any irritation no side effects. THIS IS A MUMMY BAG STAPLE!! I cannot recommend this cream more than anything. It’s amazing for nappy rash, bumps, scratches and burns. It’s multi-use. The pros are that it’s waterproof because it’s oil based. The cons are that you shouldn’t leave it in sight of your children because it’s a nightmare to get out of furniture and hair. TIP: if your child puts it in their hair, DONT WASH IT! Put talc powder in their hair, it’ll dry it out. Leave it overnight then wash hair in the morning twice, it should be perfect after. ❤️❤️👏🏼👏🏼

Sudocrem is pretty much a staple in our family and has been since my parents were young. It’s perfect for anyone. From babies bums, scraped knees and skin concerns. The tube is brilliant for preventing nappy rash and it’s thick but aborbs well, so it’s a must have in anyone’s changing station! The small mini sudocrem is brilliant for changing bags or even handbags. Sometimes if I get a cut or a scrape it’s handy to keep in my bag. Or cold season when my nose gets chapped!! The size works well and I love how it comes in multiple accessible sizes. The only downside I have to sudocrem is that the pots require you to stick your finger in. So you can end up cross contaminating the pot and it’s a bit difficult to get off your fingers. But the tubes are excellent

This is a wonderful healing cream, I have honestly been using this for years and years. IUsed for nappy rash when my children were younger, on sunburn and any little cut or graze, out came the sudocreme. I work in a nursing home and find there that this is better than any other product for the delicate skin of the elderly. I've used it recently for sun burn and a little blister on my foot, wow gone in 24-48hrs. Perfect price, perfect cream, highly recommended. Every household should have this

The best! I have been using this since I was a baby and have never had any issues. Recently my skin has been breaking out more. Whether it is stress, hormones, or just general pollution clogging my pores. And this stuff has helped SO much, especially with forehead bumps. Would definitely recommend it to any skin type, great price and good ingredients, a classic!

Swiss Army Knife of Ointments for the Skin

This is similar to a product I used long ago in the U.S., which is no longer available or at least I cannot locate it. If it is a true and perfect substitute, it would rate 5 stars. But I haven't used it long enough to be able to say for sure, so I'm limiting my rating to 4 stars. It's use is for burns, wounds, rashes, and other unpleasant conditions of the skin, so obviously I am not keen to create opportunities to test it. Its major positive feature is that it is a sort of "Swiss Army Knife" ointment, good for a very broad range of things. I have distributed part of this fairy large jar into a few smaller containers for my office, car, shop, and "EDC" / Travel gear so as to be ready for all these possible conditions in all spots.
